Best Casual Restaurants in Île Saint-Louis - Notre-Dame

Pamela Popo is truly my favorite restaurant in the world and always my very first stop whenever I arrive in Paris. There is simply nothing else like it, the atmosphere, the music, the design, the energy, and of course the incredible food all come together to create something magical every single time. A very special thank you to Karl and Lori for their outstanding hospitality and warmth. You all make every visit feel so personal and memorable, and that is what makes Pamela Popo so special. There are many beautiful places in Paris, but Pamela Popo will always have my heart. Already looking forward to coming back again.

We were looking for pasta and found it here: spaghetti bolognese, penne with mozzarella and aubergine. Generous salad, lots of bread and a carafe of wine. Our waiter obliged a request for extra tamate to husband’s liking. Not a lot of atmosphere, but good food!

The pizza was fabulous and the service was superb!

Always a treat. Nothing fancy but the food is cooked to perfection. My duck confit was delicious; the meat was falling off the bone. Just as tender and well-roasted as I’ve ever had. Wife’s steak was cooked to perfection. Make sure you get the potatoes!
