Love 59 Almshouse. It's a "staple" for us. It's convenient, always delicious and we love the ambience. From a salad, to a sandwich, to a dinner and of course, cocktails, it is great! :) Enjoy! We always do!

Seasonal menu combined with a well informed, friendly staff makes this a local gem. The brunch selection gave a wide range of choices. It’s a beautiful setting across from the Delaware river. Don’t miss it!

Incredible food, service, and view of the river! We started with the bread service and brussel sprouts (both delicious!), entrees were homemade lobster ravioli and ribeye (also excellent), and finished with the gelato nougat dessert which was absolutely incredible! The hardest part was deciding what to try because everything looked delicious. Can't wait to go back!

We had a delightful anniversary dinner at The Black Bass. The service was excellent and our meals were delicious. We shared the butter lettuce citrus salad and both had the rack of lamb. The lamb was cooked just right, the pistachio crust set the lamb off perfectly, and the sides were very good. The tiramisu was more than enough to share and a yummy end to a lovely meal looking out over the Delaware River. We recommend The Black Bass and will be back again soon.
