- TTom GoldNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoPlace was hopping on a Friday night. Despite how busy they were, not one flaw in their impeccable service. Every detail was taken care of. Efficient, helpful with menu items, everyone was so attentive including the management. The food? Incredibly delicious, outstanding beyond the descriptions on the menu (which are mouth-watering by themselves). My favorite place anytime I am within 50 miles of it. Well done everyone!!More infoL'Escale$$$$• Provencal• Greenwich•4.8
- DDavidGoldNew York City •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAnniversary dinner at Cottage (Greenwich) tonight. First time here and it did not miss a single beat! Decor was fresh and clean and the tables were not tightly packed so we had some space and a bit of privacy. Our waiter, Maximilian was fabulous. He knew the menu well and guided us through it all. Apps - loved the mix and match/by the piece apps. We tried the brisket bao. Between the tender, flavor bomb brisket, the kimchi and sauces, it was just delicious! Next we had the king crab sushi rolls. They were very good, and no complaints, but was probably the weakest bite of the night. Mains - Well, my wife had the Lobster pasta. Homemade (in house!) spaghetti; tomato base with zest and tons of flavor and a bit of a kick; chunks of lobster. Rave review! I had the burger. Did not dissapoint! Cooked medium rare -- to perfection. The blend was delicious and the sauce and bacon jam all just had a party in my mouth. Top 3 burgers ever. For dessert, we indulged int he warm chocolate "cake". Not a liquid lava, but a smooth as silk chocolate bomb with a (strong) hint of orange and a side of sesame gelato. (if I had to pick on anything at all, the color of the black sesame gelato was a bit odd, but that's it). It all just worked! Delicious to the very last bite. No processed flavor here. Just great flavors in a combination that was a perfect end to a perfect meal. Thank you Maximilian and kudos to the Chef team. We Will be back!!More infoThe Cottage - Greenwich$$$$• Contemporary American• Greenwich•4.7

- JJaneGoldNew York City •19 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoDinner for 5 last night. We decided to eat "family style," since we knew the meal would be rich and a lot of food. Started with drinks, popovers/corn bread and (a must have) clothesline maple bacon. The drinks were healthy pours, the "bread plate" should have included regular bread for those who do not like sweet cornbread or popovers with a savory topping (reminded me of an everything bagel topping.) For our mains, we shared an excellent Tomahawk steak - perfectly done, tender, juicy. We picked 3 sides - maple glazed brussel spouts, broccoli & mashed potatoes. The sides were good, but not special. In addition we ordered a number of special sushi rolls and the nigiri special. The sushi was surprisingly good and fresh. It went well with the steak. Who knew? Lastly, we shared the donuts & macarons, but I did not partake since I usually skip dessert. Those that did seemed to enjoy them. Lastly, I would like to add that the service was excellent and the theatrical presentation was a hoot. I did enjoy that excitement. Plan on about $100 per person with one drink.More infoRed Horse by David Burke White Plains$$$$• American• White Plains•4.3
- EEdwardGoldNew York City •505 reviews5.0Dined on May 22, 2026Another very enjoyable dinner at Mediterranean. We split a margarita pizza. I had the chicken mayonnaise and Kathy had the Amish chicken. We had a drink each with me having my pineapple Mojito, which was excellent. It was very crowded. Service was great.More infoMediterraneo$$$$• Mediterranean• Greenwich•4.8
