The lentil soup is excellent, the Risotto Nero was really enjoyed as well as Ricciarelle Vitello. Never had a bad meal at Via Alloro. Also appreciated was Mr. Drago stopping by. Elevates the class of the restaurant.More infoVia Alloro$$$$• Italian• Beverly Hills•4.7

- PPlinioGoldLos Angeles •61 reviews4.0Dined on Apr 19, 2026I asked ChatGPT to find me a romantic restaurant walking distance from LACMA - Geffen Galleries. ChatGPT came back with 6 suggestions and this one topped the list. A friend of mine tried to dissuade me from visiting, but I am a sucker for views and the views looked great in the images. After visiting, the views are amazing and the staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. We were one of two tables occupied on a Saturday at 12 noon. So, not a scene at all. But the table was perfect and quiet and we had almost 360 degree views of the Hollywood Hills. We ordered Champange and a Martini. Unfortunately, they were out of Champagne and I settled for a sparkling wine. The avocado toast was crispy and crunchy and still delicious. The shrimp on hummus was delicious. The burger and fries were very good and so was the main salad I ordered. Would I return? Not really but not because of the food, staff or view. The walk from LACMA to the hotel, was sketch due to homeless and boarded up buildings along the way. When you arrive at the hotel lobby, you have to ask the front desk for a "guest key card" to be able to use the elevator and then, you have to switch elevators on a very small building in order to reach the restaurant. So that experience, leading up to the arrival was funky. If you stay at the hotel, by all means, visit the restaurant.More infoVidere Rooftop Restaurant and Bar$$$$• Californian• Beverly / Fairfax / La Brea / Third St.•4.3
