Great service and great food. Smaller portions but meant for sharing. Overall great experience, and I’m a picky eater!

Excellent quality and quantities are huge. Service is outstanding and overall I highly recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood. We ordered the seafood pasta, the carboranara with lobster pasta as two main dishes, plus a side of the Italian salad. Quantities are huge even if you are hungry. These dishes can easily be split between two people. As dessert, I am a big fan of crème brûle, and theirs is to die for. Great meal in an expensive area, but you get more than what you pay for and thanks for the great service and friendly chat with Kevin ( we are the couple who drove all the way from Canada to taste the great food and enjoy the lovely old songs by Frank Sinatra. 😀👍🙏

Great pizza (one of the best in Illinois and the country coupled with outstanding wait staff and the vibrant feel of the foot traffic on the Ogden Slip make for a memorable meal.

Excellent, clean menu that I was able to easily navigate with gluten, dairy, soy and nut allergies. Food was so fresh and flavorful. Beautiful day to sit on the patio and service was excellent. Loved it - definitely a repeat!

The food brought us so much joy, and I’m already looking forward to coming back on a Tuesday for the half-off bottles and to finally try the branzino. Service had a few small hiccups during our visit, but nothing that took away from how much we enjoyed the overall experience. The hummus was delayed and there was a brief mix-up with dessert, but the team handled everything kindly and everyone seemed genuinely well-intentioned. Avec is a beautifully curated restaurant with incredible food and wine, and I’m excited for another visit.
