- AAlysonPerthshire/Stirlingshire •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a wonderful evening at The French Quarter yesterday with my partner and our friend. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the team and, despite being around 20 minutes early for our booking, we were seated straight away without any issue. This was our second visit and once again everything was excellent. The service was friendly, attentive and relaxed throughout the evening. The staff really make you feel welcome and create such a comfortable atmosphere. The food and drinks were fantastic and enjoyed by all of us. Each course was beautifully presented, full of flavour and clearly prepared with care. We also really appreciated that we were never rushed between courses or at the end of the meal, which made the whole experience feel even more enjoyable and relaxed. We absolutely love this place and it has quickly become one of our favourite restaurants in Newcastle. A huge well done and thank you to the whole team at The French Quarter — we’ll definitely be back again soon.More infoThe French Quarter££££• French• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.9

The setting, the professionalism of the staff, the wonderful food, a really lovely occasion for my husband’s birthday. Lots of choice on the lunch menu, even for someone gluten free! - LLorraineGoldYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe restaurant was quiet at 10:00 am with pleasant background music playing . I received a very warm welcome from Aga who was extremely courteous and friendly. She let me choose where I wanted to sit and brought me a menu. There was a good choice of dishes at reasonable prices. I chose the comte omelette with an extra side of boudin noir. I also asked for a cafetiere of coffee. The coffee was brought straight away and was very good. My food was served promptly and Aga warned me that the plate was very hot, which got my approvement. Everything was delicious and Aga was attentive but not overly so. The atmosphere was so nice I would have stayed there much longer if I had not a meeting to attend. I had a brief chat with Aga as I was paying the bill. She is lovely and a credit to Cote Brasserie. Thank you.More infoCôte Brasserie - Newcastle££££• French• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.6
