Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Stanhope

Excellent service and delicious cuisine. Everything from the bread/olive oil/olives/humus, to the appetizers and main course (whole fish red snapper) were outstanding. My request for a "quiet table" was accommodated, however, Varka is still a noisy restaurant (wood floors) and will always be difficult for those of us with ambient noise issues (I guess a hearing aid is in my future). In honor of my birthday some very tasty complementary scoops of sorbet were provided ... and no happy birthday singing (which was appreciated). My only issue on "value" is the high price of the appetizers. The white Greek wines go really well with the seafood and are an excellent value with most in the $45-55 range for a bottle.

My girlfriend and I dined at Fiorino’s on 5/13/25 and had an amazing experience. The service is attentive without being intrusive. For appetizers we had the blood orange salad and the grilled octopus and both were delicious. The octopus had a nice seasoning, was tender and grilled to perfection. Our entrees consisted of broiled veal and double pork chops. Both were moist and generous and served with vegetables. The dessert was the blueberry crisp with vanilla gelato and it was on point. Coffee was brewed to perfection as well.I can wait to come back again and try some of the fish selections.

Great atmosphere and view of the lake, the French onion burger and the buffalo wings were outstanding. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this place on the lake.

I love coming here for the good food, lake view and activities next door. The fish tacos, burgers and salads are great. The restaurant is next to a lake with a walkway, playground and paddle boats. It’s also within walking distance of g distant to the Turtle Back Zoo.
