Jack Timmons grew up in Texas and has lived in Seattle for over three decades. In 2012, he attended BBQ Summer Camp at the Meat Sciences department of Texas A&M, then toured many historic barbecue temples of Central Texas. I have not been since they remodeled. It looks nice inside. Our server was great. I was a little taken back by all the families with kids and how horrible and loud the children were. It takes away from the meal and conversation when all you hear is tantrums and bratty kids. Since the place is an open concept it gets really loud with that. But that doesn't have anything to do with the way the restaurant is run, its just something to consider if you want to go and have a business meeting or conversation with friends.

We love Jack’s. It’s true Texas barbque that always delivers. We tried the steaks and Cesar and they were delicious. We’ve also taken their smoking classes and they are well worth the time!

We went late at night, and it was such a nice time because it wasn’t busy at all. We were seated right away, and our waitress was so sweet—she came over quickly to take our drink orders and brought them back just as fast. My sister was the only one who ordered dinner since the rest of us weren’t super hungry, but she absolutely loved her meal. She ate every last bite, so I know it must’ve been delicious! After dinner, we headed to the arcade, and wow, there were so many fun games to play! The prizes were great too, and I loved how easy it was to load credits onto a money card—no fumbling with tokens or tickets. It’s such a perfect place for families or a group of friends to have a fun, carefree night. I’d definitely recommend it!
