food and service are always great. It Is winter in southern California, so wear a sweater. Great spot! There is a reason that they are able to add more locations. always great specials and wine specials as well.

I had a friend in from Charlotte, NC who I had not seen for sometime. West End was a perfect setting to catch up and reminisce. Fernanda and Christian's service was outstanding as always. Upon my recommendation, my friend had the clam chowder (one of the best in San Diego) and the salmon burger - he loved everything. My meal was enjoyable as always. Thank you all for making this special lunch so nice. See you again soon.

This is one of the only delicatessens in San Diego county. Therefore, it is a go-to for that style of food and diner ambiance. The service was excellent: attentive, accurate, friendly. The food was good, perhaps a little uninspired. The maitre d', as always, is colorful & efficient. The prices are a little high, I suppose. Parking was difficult because it is situated in a busy shopping center. We enjoyed our time & the setting. We shall return!

We had a limited menu for the 2 of us since they offered Thanksgiving dinners only (on Thanksgiving) However, we were able to order a good chopped salad and chicken limone appetizers which were very good and more than adequate proportions and delicious desserts.
