    We visited the Box on the Water for a cosy lunch on a Saturday in winter. Despite the wind and rain outside, the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and good service. We had the hot seafood plate for two, with the recommended wine; everything was well-cooked, with a good variety of food, and some delicate and well-considered flavours on dishes like the mussels and prawns. The price was very good for the amount of food served, and I would recommend this as a lunch venue for anyone visiting Ettalong Beach.
