Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Edgemont, Philadelphia County

We went to the White dog Cafe last night and everything that was truly excellent. It was a Saturday night, busy but the staff was timely and accommodating. The food was great, prices as expected and fun ambience. It was definitely loud inside inside, though. We initially made our reservations for outside patio, then when the weather was cooler than expected we asked to be moved inside. We had to wait just a little bit and the staff made it work which was really nice.

Food was delicious and our server was excellent. Sat outside near the bar which was a little noisy. Would definitely return.

Food was OUTSTANDING! Service was great. One of the managers came to our table and asked how everything came out. I had the ricotta and beet salad and would drive back to Philly right now for another serving of it. Just perfectly delicious. The ravioli were also terrific. My sister enjoyed the gnudi and the sides, appys and drinks were all excellent. Our waiter, Kenny, was great and everyone who delivered items to our table was kind and professional. Not our first time there. Certainly will not be our last. Talulah's Garden is a wonderful dining experience.

As soon as we entered the restaurant after getting seated, Irving our favorite server along with Papi the restaurant manager came over and gave us an awesome greeting. We were so happy to see the both of them. In talking with Papi I couldn't believe that we've known him for 20 years. I was so happy to also learn that Irving was going to be our server for the evening. Quite frankly he is one of the BEST in the area. He seems to balance professionalism with a great sense of humor so very well. He's always isuper attentive and always grants us every one of our requests. After we enjoyed our perfectly made cocktails we both ordered the crab cocktail for our appetizers which has always been one of our favorite apps on the menu. We followed that with an order of the Dover sole and the Bronzino which were plated so beautifully and tasted absolutely delicious. And then we both shared the brownie crunch pie for dessert. It was an unbelievably fun and exquisite dining experience. I want to thank the folks that came to our table to either deliver or take away the food because they were all so friendly and we were very appreciative of that. Special thanks of course to Irving who totally made our evening so much more fun and enjoyable, we so appreciate you Irving and look forward to seeing you each time we visit Savona. And Papi, thanks for checking on us a couple of times during our dinner. As you discovered, and no surprise to you, we were in great hands with Irving.

Love the ambiance of the cafe and the entire grounds with all the beautiful flowers and trees. Friendly service, delicious food. The potted bread and whipped butter that comes with the meal is such a cute idea and very good.
