The Swan on the Green is a historic 16th-century pub proudly owned by its community. Purchased in March 2025 with support from the Government’s Community Ownership Fund, it is now owned by 463 shareholders who invested to secure its future. Their support has safeguarded the pub for generations to come, with shareholders from the village, the wider community, and even overseas.The Swan offers a wide range of food and drink inspired by global flavours, alongside Kentish real ales and ciders. Much of the produce is locally sourced, with some grown just metres from the pub, including strawberries, soft fruits, and fresh salads from nearby farms. Working closely with trusted local suppliers and a passionate team, The Swan is committed to quality, provenance, and making every visit memorable.
