The oyster appetizer was exquisite, the best I’ve had ever, juicy, plump with a special topping that made them crunchy, providing an amazing contrast. The octopus appetizer was also excellent. I will say that this is one of the most perfectly prepared seafood meals I’ve ever had, the chef truly delivered excellent quality all the way through. We also had a swordfish main course, which was delicious as well. More infoVernick Fish$$$$• Cocktail Bar• Center City•4.8

- SShanaGoldPhiladelphia County •22 reviews5.0Dined on May 28, 2026Chef Greg Vasso’s 7-course tasting menu was nothing short of extraordinary. From the first bite to the last, every course showcased incredible creativity, flawless execution, and a level of attention to detail that rivaled some of the finest dining experiences I’ve had anywhere. The Meringue Roasted Beets, a stunning balance of earthy, sweet, and savory flavors. 10/10 The Hudson Valley Foie Gras Torchon was decadent perfection. it delivered an unforgettable combination of richness, texture, and elegance. The Blue Fin Tuna Crudo was a standout. Every component worked in perfect harmony. The Maine Lobster Squash Blossom may have been one of the top 3 luxurious bites of the evening. it was simply exquisite. The Hokkaido Scallops were cooked flawlessly. The dish beautifully balanced sweetness, richness, and savory depth. My favorite The Duck Breast was a masterclass in technique. Perfectly prepared it delivered comforting flavors while remaining refined and sophisticated. To finish, the Flourless Chocolate Gateau was the ideal ending to an incredible culinary journey. What makes Chef Greg Vasso's tasting menu exceptional isn't just the quality of the ingredients—it's the thoughtful progression of each course and the way every dish tells its own story while contributing to the overall experience. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was intimate and welcoming, and every detail felt intentional. This wasn't simply dinner; it was an experience. If you're looking for a truly memorable culinary adventure, Chef Greg Vasso's tasting menu at The Inn at Barley Sheaf is an absolute must. Five stars simply aren't enough.More infoInn at Barley Sheaf Farm$$$$• Contemporary American• New Hope•4.8
