We thoroughly enjoyed our weekday evening dinner out at the Seven Stars. The food was absolutely wonderful and I thought well priced considering the quality. The Surrey Hills beer is well kept. My wife enjoyed the Spring Cocktail. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The fact that it was a lovely warm evening helped and the outside tables are nicely situated in front of the very pretty pub exterior. No issue with road noise as the lane through Leigh is pretty quiet really. It would have been nice to be able to run a tab, not least because that way we would have been able to easily add a tip which would have been very well earned. We will definitely return to the Seven Stars.

I could not recommend the Shepherd and Dog pub more highly. We booked on a busy bank holiday weekend, during a heat wave and the pub was fairly busy, but the staff remained extremely pleasant, calm and attentive. A BBQ and children's magician provided an added bonus and the children were entertained by the beautiful garden and children's play area. The waiting staff were courteous and helpful and staff were very supportive in catering for my son's allergies. The food was exquisite- some of the best pub food I have ever had and the location was stunning. we enjoyed a lovely walk afterwards. The whole experience was very relaxing and enjoyable.

First time at Palm Court but will definitely go back. The roast beef was so tender it just melted in my mouth. My husband enjoyed the chicken and my brother relished the three meats roast. The ambience was relaxed and the staff friendly. Service charge was already added, I may be old-fashioned but I prefer to leave a tip.

Wonderful Sunday lunch in a warm friendly atmosphere. Very much enjoyed by all four of us. The Sunday roasts were anormous. Slightly smaller dishes would be more than acceptable and would help you especially in these difficult times for hospitality.
