Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Collingwood, Melbourne

Fantastic views. Great drinks and staff. Could get some more veggie options for the sides and chips could have been better. The sourdough was fantastic. Will surely visit again.

The high tea was beyond our expectations. Everything was perfect with excellent service.

Wonderful experience at Alluvial for my birthday High Tea... I thoroughly enjoyed my vegetarian options: the egg and truffle pinwheels were delicious and the tarts were exceptional with perfect pastry. The Scones were a little dry (for my liking) but the accompanying preserve and lemon myrtle double cream more than made up for this. The sweet treats were also delicious, my favourite was the chocolate tart (again the pastry) with raspberry and Davidson plum. The tea choice was excellent with classics like English Breakfast and French Earl Grey included alongside a new favourite - Pink Flamingo tea! Alongside this, the accompanying glass of Champagne and Orange and Cointreau shooter were a welcome addition. Overall, I highly recommend this high tea experience. However, a final shout out to the staff who were attentive without being intrusive. They really helped make my birthday special.

Staff were great. The menu had just changed but they checked with tge chef and were able to give us something from the old menu. They were very accommodating and pleasant.
