Lynn was our wonderful server! Attentive, friendly and knew what to recommend. I had the scallops and my cousin had the steak. Both dishes were delicious! For our starter we ordered the fillet bruschetta. It was mouthwatering! I had a sangria and an espresso martini, my cousin tried the dirty martini. All three drinks hit the spot! There was wonderful live music and the place is beautifully decorated. I will definitely be returning!

This was my first time visiting The John Dory Tavern and eating in the restaurant. I really enjoyed having a drink in the pub-like feel of John Dory’s and the live music. Then we were brought to our table where the great service continued. This is an old school restaurant experience, with white linens and crystal, and all the staff dressed smartly to elevate the experience. The food was wonderful, as was the attention to it being our anniversary celebration. At the end of the meal, they brought us a raspberry sorbet, which went beautifully with one of the best Creme Brûlées we’ve ever ordered! Overall, a very pleasant experience!

We came to celebrate our friend’s birthday. The food was delicious. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and professional. Our waiter Ed made our night. He was funny and very helpful with food recommendations. We will definitely be back.
