Best Romantic Restaurants in Hillside, Chicago / Illinois

We truly enjoyed our dinner. We had lasagna and Cesar salad and both were delicious. This is my second time to eat here and will be back!

I went to Deliz to celebrate a personal achievement and to treat myself to a nice dinner and I was not disappointed! There was a slight mix up with the hostess upon arrival when locating my reservation, and I felt she could have been a bit more helpful/friendly when I asked if I could sit at the bar rather than take a table. Fortunately the manager was there to help mitigate the confusion. The bartender who served me was very friendly and able to answer all of my questions about the menu, as well as make an accommodation to substitute a dish that I was interested in ordering that was unavailable for the night. I ordered a delicious N.A. cocktail, the yellowtail crudo, Brussels sprouts, and a steak frites plus a scoop of gelato for dessert. The crudo may have been the standout of the night for me as everything was perfectly balanced, and I loved the bite of heat being offset by the sweetness of the green apple elements in the sauce and “salsa.” That being said, the au poivre served with the steak was incredible and complimented each bite of steak which was cooked to perfection. I opted for a scoop of Amarena cherry gelato for dessert and was pleasantly surprised by the addition of a lychee sorbet that was so flavorful and like eating a lychee straight from the husk. I will definitely be back to enjoy and try more of the menu!
