Don’t let any hesitation stop you from checking it out, it’s definitely worth a visit. The food was amazing overall, but the meat really stood out. It was cooked perfectly, juicy, flavorful, and exactly how you’d hope it to be. You can tell they put care into getting it just right. Also, you have to try the atun tartar. It was fresh, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend giving this spot a chance. You might end up loving it as much as we did!More infoCarne & Hueso$$$$• Contemporary Mexican• North Park•4.9

- CColleenSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had the best experience for our first visit. Sean was our server and he was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable throughout our entire reservation. The overall service from the entire staff was excellent and we so appreciated that as we had someone consistently checking in- the sommelier made wonderful recommendations as well! Every dish was amazing, we started with the lamb neck charcuterie, beets and raviolis! We split the steak frites New York cut as well as the asparagus and it was perfect- to die for! We were so full but Sean was so kind and generous he brought out the birthday girl a complimentary ice cream bite with a candle! We can’t wait to return and try more of the menu, we will absolutely be asking to be seated with Sean again too!More infoA L’ouest$$$$• French• North Park•4.8
- TTraceyGoldLos Angeles •57 reviews5.0Dined on May 23, 2026We dined here to celebrate my daughter’s graduation so we had a large party. It was such a wonderful experience!! The service was so good, our server was very helpful with suggestions that we asked for on food etc. We enjoyed cocktails and 2 large variety appetizers that included fried zucchini, fried calamari, artichoke hearts, burrata and eggplant which were all delicious and really beautifully displayed. There was plenty for our group of 10 people. There was a fish special that a couple of us had, so yummy! Also the short rib ravioli and the gnocchi were outstanding. I didn’t see what everyone ate but everyone loved the food here. We also enjoyed several of the desserts including the tiramisu, limoncello cake, and chocolate lava cake. These were so good that we were having a debate on which dessert was the best. Honestly we were so impressed with the quality dishes and top-notch service we talked about how lucky we were to find this gem. Our lovely server really made the evening perfect with her attention to detail, and she made my daughter feel so special. We absolutely loved dining here and will be back whenever we are in San Diego. Probably our favorite Italian spot ever!More infoOsteria Panevino$$$$• Italian• Downtown•4.3
