The krō bär is an eclectic bar with a speakeasy vibe and a passion for spirits and great food with a nod to another era. Tucked away on Main Street in Bothell, a walkable neighborhood teaming with local art, culture and food, the artfully handcrafted krō bär has been reclaimed from the bones of Bothell’s historic hardware store in the Mohn building. The 16-foot-high tin ceilings, a hanging catwalk and the original wood floors were uncovered and restored.     Everything was delicious! My partner and I are vegetarian, and we were able to order plenty of delicious items off the menu and leave very full! The chickpea fritters were a highlight as well as the asparagus. I got a delicious glass of Chenin blanc with my meal, not too dry and not too sweet. 10/10!

    Enjoyed our meal very much on a Saturday evening. A surprise gem in the walking main street of Bothel. At 8 pm, still bustling and charming. Our first visit and therefore a genuine surprise! The cocktails are superb with a personal touch! Quite strong. The menu on the food could be more helpful with some pictures, I would say. But when the food came, still quite delightful. The service is superb and we left with a happy mood.

    We made it just in time for happy hour and were able to split appetizers among all four of us—there was plenty of food for everyone. We ordered chicken strips, sliders, fries, and a cheese plate, and everything was a great value. Our server, James, was attentive and did an excellent job even while managing a full section. This was a great stop before we went on to dance the night away.
