Best Historic Restaurants in Newtown, Philadelphia County

We have been trying to get to Stella for some time. We were celebrating our anniversary and brought our Yellow Lab Daisy. The moment we arrived we (including Daisy) were welcomed with amazing service and hospitality. The food is fabulous and our server was on point keeping our glasses full. Get the warm bread board. With it! I believe Daisy enjoyed her Pup Cuisine, although it was inhaled in seconds. Would highly recommend Stella to those visiting or celebrating in New Hope. We will be back this fall. ..

The Grey Stone never disappoints. The menu is always interesting and the quality of the food is excellent. The servers are friendly and professional, and the outdoor dining area is very pleasant. It's the best restaurant in the area because the owner herself puts the work in to make it so, greeting every table and making sure the dining experience is top-notch, which it consistently is.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Red Owl Tavern while staying at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco. We shared the Carnivore's Feast, and it was every bit as delicious as it was unique. It was such a fun way to sample four different types of meat, and each one was flavorful and perfectly prepared. We also ordered the roasted potatoes, which were excellent, although the feast itself was so generous that we barely made a dent in them! The cocktails were well-crafted and complemented the meal nicely. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helped make the entire experience enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic evening, and we would happily dine here again.

They are doing a price fixed menu right now, 3 courses for $35. Had the calamari which were excellent. Seemed fresh, not frozen. The filet and crab cake were both great. Tiramisu was an excellent finish to the meal. Highly recommend Bella Tori
