    This is a "must stop" whenever in the D.C. area. The sevice is always top tier, even more so when you are blessed to meet the legend that is Joe Jo. The dishes are exceptional with the tomahawk steak, kimchi greens and seasonal dishes some of the best around. If you enjoy Southern cooking with flare and maximum flavor, this is the place to come Highly recommend!

    We decided to eat out instead of cooking for the 4th of July and Ruth Chris did not disappoint. The prime rib, lamb chops and pork chops were absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and flawless. This is a steak house so expect it to be a little pricey.

    This time we had family, a party of six, to celebrate a 31st anniversary in our favorite local restaurant. Everyone choise different options, and all were excellent. I confess, I returned to my favorite starter, escargots, the best to be had this side of Paris :~) (Back story . . . in my experience a typical Parisian serving is five, but at Cafe Normandie the standard is a dozen, unless you ask for a half portion :~) Cafe Normandie is special. If you are a local but have not been there, try it once, and most likely frequently you will return. If visiting, take advantage of a local gem.
