    The Barn is a great addition to Highland Park. Excellent greeting, seating, and service staff. Friends from the Milwaukee area loved it too. Best crabcake ever! Be sure to reserve a spot after dinner at the 1898 Speakeasy behind The Barn. Its cozy, comfortable, and complete with most any after-dinner cordial or cocktail available.

    We had a wonderful Mother’s Day brunch celebration for Alisa at Nolan’s Restaurant at Illinois Beach Hotel, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The breakfast selections, lunch offerings, desserts, and especially the prime rib were all absolutely fabulous. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and plentiful. What truly made the day special, however, was the outstanding staff and atmosphere. The service was warm, attentive, and professional from start to finish, making us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. The restaurant played a significant role in helping make Mother’s Day a memorable and wonderful occasion for Alisa and our family. Compliments to the chefs, management, and entire team for such an exceptional dining experience. We highly recommend Nolan’s and look forward to returning again soon! Ken
