Pizza Nova has been locally owned and operated since 1990. We are a family restaurant providing a comfortable setting overlooking San Diego Bay. The Point Loma location has proven to be a destination point for many of the tourist who visits San Diego. The restaurant offers a full bar as well as a rotating selection of craft beers on tap. All the pizzas are baked in a wood burning oven. The dough is hand stretched in our exhibition kitchen. A lot of our loyal kitchen crew have been with us since the mid 90's.     We came in on a very busy weekend night and were surprised how well everything was handled. Even without a bar seat available, the hostess quickly found us a table and got us settled in right away. The service stayed consistent the entire night despite how packed the restaurant was, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. We ordered a few dishes including pizza and eggplant parmigiana and everything came out really well prepared. Great energy in the place and a solid experience overall.

    This restaurant was amazing! They were so accommodating to fit a party of 10 people. The bruschetta with mozzarella and prosciutto was dynamite. I would also recommend the pappardelle with mushrooms and also the prosciutto/arugula pizza. Everything was so good!

    We were a party of four adults and one 4 year old. The waitress made sure the child's food order was put in with the appetizers and came out early. She also did a great job recommending dishes and wine pairings. We loved our dinners.
