Every item we ordered was fantastic, including the French Onion soup, tuna poke appetizer, steak entrees and the molten lava cake. We all agreed that they were outstanding!
Good steakhouse and good service. I feel very comfortable in this restaurant. The martinis are perfectly made; the wine list could improve. I highly recommend.
Flemings is always consistent. Bar seating is our favorite. The barkeepers are all friendly and very attentive to your needs. The food offerings are typical for a steakhouse, but are always prepared just as you request. The wine list is not as extensive as other establishments, but the wines "by-the-glass" list is great. See you at Flemings.
I was pretty disappointed with my recent experience at Flemings. The food came out so fast that we were in and out in 20 minutes and for $280.00, we couldn't even enjoy ourselves. The waiter asked us about dessert when we ordered our appetizer and before or entrée, (because it takes 20 minutes to make) so it just felt very, very rushed. We were sat directly in front of the kitchen (which was incredibly noisy with staff talking, laughing and plates banging) when the restaurant was practically empty and we had a reservation - this is the table you put us at? For the money spent, I would have expected much more.
Sever and food was excellent
the sea bass was excellent
We came for NYE Celebration/Dinner! Our waiter Boris was Amazing and his service was Awesome. However, we go out for NYE Dinner every year and their was no real recognition of the night unlike other restaurants we’ve been too.
Bar did last call at 11pm!!!!
The food was really good too—
New Years Eve
My wife, daughter and I went for New Years Eve and our 23rd anniversary. I have to say that the steak was superb!
The waiter on the other hand was just fair. He at first asked if there was a special occasion and my wife let him know, until we had our coats on he never acknowledged our anniversary. He gave my wife a little box with 4 pieces of candy and said Happy Anniversary. Most “high end” steakhouses like that will at least ask if you want to pay for a piece of cake and coffee, it just was a poor end to what could have been a memorable evening. In addition, he didn’t explain a drink at the end and we had to return it and charged us for an additional bottle of wine that they were out of and we had to ask him to take it off. At one point another person came in to help, clear the table, get us some condiments I do though have to say he was a nice person and not rude. Maybe overwhelmed???
We’ll have to think about our choice the next time we go to a nice restaurant.
Another great dinner at Flemings . . . Sam and the rest of the staff are always a pleasure to dine with :)
This place is a grada A spot! We got an Outback Steakhouse gift card that was honored here, the staff was top notch, the food was perfect, the beverages were ice cold! I have no complaints, only that i can't afford to dine here weekly!
Service wss good; waiter a little too chatty.
Food was good. My husband and I ordered the same meal, filet mignon bone in, medium. His was perfectly cooked, mine was more medium well. Perfectly seasoned, however.
Excellent all around. Waiter Giorgio was knowledgeable and thoughtful. He was great!
Had dinner before seeing shear madness at the Charles playhouse. Just a short walk. Absolutely incredible steaks cooked to perfection. Not cheap, but I don’t mind paying for such a great meal......
Excellent dinner and service. They gave us a round table as discussed and it was perfect and in a quiet corner.
Sergio our server was great!
This was my first visit to Fleming's. I was immediately impressed with the ambiance and decor. So elegant but yet comfortable. Excellent service. Steak is the main feature: there are a few other items, but very limited -- so only go if you want steak! We started with salads and bread. Both were delicious! We all got filet mignon and shared several sides. The sides are intended for sharing, and are big on flavor but not on size. The sides were simply prepared and very delicious. The sautéed spinach and grilled asparagus were fresh, tasty, and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were also delicious but a small portion. The onion rings were very large and very crispy. Our server suggested the molten lava cake for dessert but needs to be put in ahead of time. Fabulous! Chocolatey and not too sweet and served attractively with ice cream, cookies, raspberries, and whipped cream. Overall a lovely evening, but the prices are very high. The filets were prepared well and tasty, but not the best I've had. For the price, I was expecting the steak to be a little better and a little more generously sized sides. However, I would recommend Fleming's for a special dinner where you don't mind splurging!
The decor was uninspiring and the food competent but not exceptional. My rib eye steak was too tough for it’s $60 price tag.
Excellent food, ambiance, and service was provided on Christmas Eve.
We had an excellent dinner at Flemings! I honestly can't say enough great things about it. The food was outstanding, the service went above and beyond (Georgie is the best server!). Wonderful evening - we can't wait to go back!
A fabulous experience for our date after the show! We knew it would be a great take to finish off our evening. What we didn’t know is how terrific Craig D., Kingsley, and Manny would be to us as they dotted on us through the night. Yes, the filets were amazing and still it was the service that put our time together over the top!! Well done team Fleming’s!!!
Had $100 in two seperate $50 increments ... Bill came to $87… Was planning on tipping waiter separately… Waiter came back to table and said we could not use the card as they were not gift cards and they could not dump them off… Was forced to use one $50 gift card ...Paid $37 on personal credit card we would’ve never spent had we not been told we could not use two gift cards because they “won’t work”. Then tipped as well..Spent $50 at a restaurant we would’ve never went to if the weather had been honest prior to us paying the difference on our credit card. After paid and tipped the waiter said if he would’ve used both gift cards, We would’ve lost the difference of $13. Took advantage of us as he thought he was not going to get tipped. Let him know we would’ve gladly lost the $13 at a restaurant we would’ve not been asked if it wasn’t for the gift cards and thank him for making a spend $50 we didn’t have. Dishonest and greedy. Would not recommend based on waiter.
Food was okay, steak was cooked perfectly. My fiancé’s chicken was flavorless. service was extremely slow. Empty plates left on the table for at least 25 mins after we finished our entrees. Server wasn’t very attentive at all. Would not return to Fleming’s. At this price point I have been to much better steakhouses in the Boston area.
Great service. Very attentive and helpful waiter. He made great recommendations. He was also patient with some of the questions asked regarding drinks, spices, etc. Two of the filets were a little undercooked but were brought home for leftovers. Everyone loved the desserts too!
Tonight was exceptional, especially for my friend and I’s first times at Fleming’s. It was great food, amazing service by Chris who was and is such a sweetheart, and expensive, but worth it. I cannot wait to take my mom here :)!
Some places give you basic Birthday package like a piece of cake and a candle. This place went way above expectations! This was my first time here and I will be returning. Did I mention the food was amazing! Lobster tail was flavorful, ribeye was succulent! OMG!
Great food and service! Menu can be a little pricey but worth it especially for a special occasion.
Fleming’s continues to provide a high level of food and service. The ambience lends itself to dining at a leisurely pace and enjoying all aspects of the meal.
Best place to take my friend for birthday dinner! Always get a gift card from restaurant, box of chocolates and many smiles and "happy birthday" from Manager and all the staff. Just fabulous experience!
Great meal, great service
Another AMAZING night at Fleming’s. We sat at the bar and the service was above and beyond!! Not only do they know us by name, but the kindness and professionalism that we receive every time we go in is unsurpassed! They know how we like our steaks cooked, know our specific preferences, and recommend the most amazing wines. This place treats you right! The managers all came over to say hello! Liam and Katy are so great, as is Jody the General manager! Other restaurants should take lessons from this place! Nothing like it in the city of Boston! Thanks again!!
Went for my husbands birthday. We got there a little early, so we decided to pass on our reservation, as we were lucky enough to find seats at the high top tables behind the bar! This was perfect for us, as it was much quieter than the main area of the restaurant. The food was PHENOMENAL! And we are a couple that goes to good places, so we have many places to compare it to.. The only thing that was just ok, was the dessert. The lava cake could have been better. They had a great dessert menu. Maybe we just got the wrong thing. We will be back for sure!
This was my first time at Flemings Steak House for a special celebratory occasion. Our experience was very good from start to finish! The waitress was new but very attentive to us. The food was excellent, all the
way through the desert! I would return to Flemings in Boston again!
As usual, great food, pricey, but worth it. However, this time, since it was our anniversary, they put us in the back room, which is nice, because everyone is celebrating a milestone or event, but our table happened to be in front of the ladies room hallway, where everyone from the room and not from the room would visit. The problem was that everyone looking for the bathroom would stop at our table wondering where the entrance was, or to wait because it was a one person bathroom, which really took from the experience. It was difficult to have a romantic experience with people walking by constantly, or standing next to us, especially if they were on their phone... that said, be aware of where you are being seated.
My Goddaughter and I were going to the nutcracker. The evening started very well with our waiter, Elvis, being very attentive. He knew we were going to the show and agreed we had plenty of time 1 hour and 45 minutes before show time). Brought our drinks, took our order, came back with bread and then disappeared. When he reappeared with our appetizers it was behind Jody who was a regional partner and who was very apologetic and assured us the rest of the service would be timely. I thanked him and told him that it would be fine. Both Jody and Elvis stopped by to check on the appetizers. Elvis brought dinner timely and disappeared. I was able to flag him down at 7:05 (we were seated at 5:45). He handed me the bill and I immediately gave him my card reminding him about our show. He went off, took orders nearby, delivered the bill to the table next to us, took another order, retrieved the bill from our neighbors, signaling me he’d be back, returned the bill to the neighbors and finally to me. It was now 7:20. My Goddaughter and I were late to the show due to the horrible service. Although I should not have left a dime, I scribbled down a $15 tip on a $175 bill before racing for the door. He wasn’t even apologetic and didn’t deserve a tip.
Great time, my boyfriend told them it was my birthday and they brought out a card and chocolate covered strawberries
Steak was awesome: rib eye blue cheese crusted.. my colleague had a filet mignon: really small and a bit chewy. We could not understand a word from the servant, and the ambient sas way too dark.
Steaks were just OK. A lot of variance in the actual cut of meat and doneness even when multiple people ordered the same thing. Service was subpar for a premier establishment. Order messed up for a group with one main dish not even coming out which is always awkward since everyone wants to wait for all the meals to be there. Very loud and the lights kept flickering to the point that I needed to ask the manager to fix it.
We always enjoy dinner at Fleming's. The food was delicious as always! The restaurant was very busy, and the wait staff did their best to keep up with the needs of their customers. The Boston location is convenient to the theater district. I highly recommend if you are in the mood for a nice steak dinner.
We enjoyed a quick pre-theater dinner at our favorite place. Our server Tim was super efficient and nice, as always. Food was, of course, very good. I tried pork chop for the first time, which was wonderful. My wife enjoyed her sea bass.
