Over the past few years, the tract of Montgomery County between Horsham and Blue Bell has become something of a hot spot for exciting new restaurants. Thanks to Habib Troudi, it’s about to get one more in the form of Panache Wood Fire Grill. Carved out of the building that had been home to L’Angolo Blue, an Italian restaurant that closed earlier this year, Panache is based on a “simple concept,” as Troudi says, offering thin-crust Neapolitan-style pizzas cooked in a wood-burning, coalfired oven, as well as prime steaks, seafood and other new American cuisine. Once complete, the space will have two bars, one of which will also house the massive 10,000-pound oven needed to crisp up those pizzas and cook other dishes in castiron skillets.

    We had another fabulous dinner at our favorite local Italian restaurant, Ristorante Castello. Thanks to Josephine we got an awesome corner table in the restaurant. Our server Yassine greeted us with such a warm, welcome smile that it set the tone for the entire evening. The shrimp cocktail and salad were absolutely delicious. The Veal piccata with the Crab meat fried rice was super yummy and plated so beautifully. The biggest surprise of all was the chocolate chip cookie dessert baked in a skillet which was absolutely "out of this world". Yassine kept checking on us so often during dinner to make sure that we were pleased with everything and that there was nothing else that we needed. He was something else. Thank you Yassine !!!

    Celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. The staff, from the moment we entered, was so hospitable and professional. Our dining experience was wonderful, as well as delicious. Our appetizer of fried oysters were so fresh and tasty. The lobster tail dinner and the sea bass meal were both delicious. Of course, we had to have dessert for this special occasion and they were equally as delicious. Our butter cheesecake and oreo chocolate mousse dessert were served on a platter with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate and a lit candle. We greatly appreciated the attention we were given on this special day.

    Our Server was John and last night and he made our anniversary dinner a wonderful experience. He helped us in our meal selections and his descriptions were on the mark. My wife and I selected a salad of mixed greens, that were fresh and crisp with just enough balsamic dressings. My wife had the Fra Diavolo with just enough spice to give it slight kick and I had the short rib with creamy mash potatoes and string beans. The season gravy and the melt in your mouth rib made the dish. For dessert, my wife had Banana Foster and I ,Bridget's cheese cake, both made a great ending to the meal.
