    My friend and I were delighted by the welcoming atmosphere and charming stone, brick and old wood interior of Bayzo’s Pub, and very impressed by the extraordinary service provided. Flora, our server, went above and beyond with her personable demeanor and conscientious attention to every detail that might enhance our enjoyment of our meal. While the noise level was no problem at all at the beginning of our visit, as more diners arrived, it became more difficult to hear each other speak. I recommend dining as early as possible to minimize this effect. As for the food, the French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had… not overly salty, and the Harvest Pasta dish was bursting with flavor. My friend greatly enjoyed her Shepherd’s Pie as well.

    This was our second visit to Ocean Edge, our first visit to the Terrace. There was a wedding reception the night we attended and we weren't able to see the water as the result. It was beautiful to be outside and the heaters helped keep us warm. The prices are really high on the food but the portions are not large. Next time, I will return to another local favorite which has delicious food and larger portion sizes for the price. Ocean Edge is beautiful, but I don't think we will return.

    We had dinner at La Bella Vita in Orleans for the first time last night. We were eating early, on a Saturday night. It was a really lovely experience start to finish. We were seated in a room in back of the bar, with a pleasantly modern vibe and comfortably spaced tables. We both ordered the Alfredo and side Caesar salads. Our server brought us beautifully fresh focaccia with garlic oil before dinner arrived. The salads were a great size, (not tiny, not huge) and the dressing was clearly house made and delicate. The croutons however, are worth a trip back! Incredibly good, with a bit of sweetness and a great crunch without being at all tough. The Alfredo was also very good. A hearty bowl of robust fettuccini in a light, creamy, beautifully seasoned sauce. Head and shoulders above the usual thick cheese sauce many places serve under this heading. We both took half of our pasta home for another meal. Great service, great food, lovely setting. We’ll be back!
