   What a lovely experience in the special little private room for the 6 of us. So intimate and sweet. Service was excellent. All food was excellent, except the Kim Chee pizza. Looking forward to coming back.

   As always the freshest ingredients were found in every dish. We enjoyed the interesting seasonings and flavor combinations. The grilled peaches were to die for. The chocolate pot de cream was a wonderful as we remembered it.

    I used to love the food at Greens, even bought and used the cookbook over many years. On this occasion I was disappointed by the fact that good ingredients were poorly cooked. I had a pasta dish that I would describe as over-sauced and gloppy. The corn cake appetizer was mediocre. The ingredients were all really well selected but poorly cooked. The staff were hard working and the outside space was well designed.

    Special chef & cuisine of Native American harvests was superb. Front of house and wait staff disorganized and were not able to handle prepaid reservations well when it came to billing-they were not properly informed by their management and were somewhat judgmental not honoring prepaid customers

    Local regulars for 30+ years but haven’t been back since way before Covid. Food and service fantastic as usual. Wait person suggested sharing most plates “tapas-style” which was perfect for group of 5. The chocolate something layer “cake” was divine! Only very minor complaint was that our table for 8:30 was not ready. About 20 min wait, felt a bit rushed at dinner, and we ended up being the last guests to leave.

    We shared two small plates and one entree. The linguini and the summer squash griddle cakes were both extraordinarily delicious. The grilled peaches were truly awesome -- one of the most enjoyable dishes I've ever had and will never forget. Thank you Greens!!!

    The lunch was outstanding…heirloom caprese sandwich divided three ways with balsamic salad hit the spot. Appetizer of mesquite grilled peaches with hot honey and yogurt and greens….wow. Topped off with marjolaine cake, chocolate and other tasty ingredients, a great finish, and something you need to save room for. A starter cocktail of gin and celery tonic was a great way to begin a meal in sunny San Francisco by the dock of the Bay.

    We visited on an unseasonably hot 85 degree day. The space was very warm and stifling. It was a Tuesday but still fairly busy. The service format seems to be that everyone is waiting on all the tables as needed. I've seen restaurants make this work but we seemed to fall through the cracks repeatedly. My food was very good. My husband had a curry dish with rice and there were so many hard uncooked rice pieces he couldn't eat it. The curry itself was great. My daughter had the pizza but the dill was heavy handed and she could only eat half. We didn't have dessert because I was afraid the process would take too much extra time.

    This was perfect! Attentive service. Amazing view. Food is incredibly tasty. I had a difficult time selecting what to order because everything sounded delicious. I had a pasta salad with mushrooms and sprouts avocado and cucumber that was an explosion of flavors I haven’t experienced in a long time. Vegan potato chowder was very tasty. Desert was superb. Would go back in a heartbeat.

    Greens is classic San Francisco. A vegetarian restaurant that even meat eaters like me love. We've been going here for years: Greens never disappoints. We ate there last night. I had their potato chowder soup and a Greek themed pizza. All delicious. And the setting can't be beat. It's a great place to watch the sun set over the Golden Gate Bridge.

    We sat inside with the amazing views. Outside seating has no view. Plenty of parking available by the restaurant. Ambiance was great and the staff was superb. We ordered appetizers, main course, soup and dessert. Every dish was excellent. I had the tofu steak with chipotle sauce, street corn and rice. It was perfectly spicy and absolutely delicious. We will definitely go back again.

    I had never seen this restaurant this busy in the 30 years I've eaten there. But I was pleased to see that we had a good table and the service was prompt and the server quite charming. The only problem we encountered was that the window shades were raised too early, which was blinding. We finally got this changed until the sun had gone down. The food was superb, much more exciting and creative than it was the last few times I ate at Greens.

    Food was delicious and tasted fresh with inventive combination of ingredients. Salad of melon/greens was tasty and filling, pizza with cornmeal crust was a welcome surprise, fresh roll is highly recommended, while linguine was rich and satisfying. Good offerings of wines and cocktails. Dessert of chocolate and cheesecake were well worth it. Only criticism was the wait to be recognized by our waiter who let 15-20 minutes pass by before asking my party if they wanted to start with a beverage. It wasn't until I stood up and approached the front desk to ask who was taking care of us, did she finally acknowledge us. She wasn't friendly, appeared aloof, but you could tell she was trying. Can't say the staff overall was welcoming. When we first arrived, I approached the display case to purchase some baked treats for my party. Employees behind the counter walked by and did not acknowledge me or even ask if I wanted something (and I was the only one standing there), so I went back to the receptionist/hostess and requested help. She said she'd get someone, and I can't say that person who helped us was anymore friendly. Before I left the restaurant, I did a scan of the restaurant and its employees - no one looked happy with their job. Sorry to experience, but the food is wonderfully good!

    We had the Yellow Split Pea Hummus for starters and it was AMAZING, I highly recommend it! The Fresh Spring Rolls with peanut sauce was also amazing. For entrees we had the Chipotle Lime Grilled Hodo Tofu and the Linguine alla Nerano and enjoyed them very much. The service was as good as the food! The only disappointment was the desserts, neither were what we expected after an amazing meal like this. The cheesecake was actually made with goat cheese (didn't notice this on the menu if it was there) it was overpowering. The lavender cake with blueberries was not very flavorful (and the blueberries were actually put on the cheesecake instead. We would definitely go back but would skip dessert.
