Went for dinner as it was my moms 60th birthday. Table service was amazing. Staff even made my 4 year old daughter comfortable offering her cushions and colouring. Thank you for such a lovely evening
The food was outstanding but in terms of service there was room for improvement- we felt very rushed as they said there was a booking after us for which they required a table even though we booked weeks in advance.
A waiter kicked my chair so I almost fell on the floor, and was very rude. If it would been a McDonald, I would not care but I have never experienced it at a Mayfair restaurant before.
The food was excellent, service was extremely attentive and the bar was a very welcoming and comfortable place to enjoy a post dinner cocktail. Would definitely recommend for couples, family and / or friends alike!
What a lovely night n dinner! Last time we went to the zone in Dubai n Loved it. Everything was superb the staff, atmosphere, Music and food, but i would like to add we want to see more halal dishes as we missed out on some of the dishes we really wanted to try like Duck, Chicken n Meat. Please include Halal food on the menu.
China Tang, PF Changs where we done quite a lot so Halal dishes as well.
Apart from that we had an amazing time n loved it. 😍👍👌
We encountered very bad service from start to finish. The hostess seated us just outside of the kitchen, where my spouse had to watch men in blue hairnets preparing food during our entire meal—not great ambiance. When the waiter arrived at our table he was not very friendly and just said “what do you want?”...There was no “welcome to our fancy expensive restaurant” or anything reasonably similar. We ordered appetizers and drinks and the appetizer surprisingly came well before our drinks arrived. The waiter finally came back and took our main order, which was also when we ordered additional drinks. The additional drinks never came and the food that came out didn’t really taste great, nor did the waiter check on us a single time. It was very disappointing to have food during our date night without drinks. We were a little irritated by this and asked for a check when we finished eating. Our waiter never came back to give us the check and seemed to forget about us. He was happily talking (and tending to) nearby tables, as was another gentleman in a suit who seemed to be a manager checking in on tables (he never once came to ours). After 15 minutes...waiting...my spouse talked with the manager upstairs so that we could pay and leave. The manager apologized and took the 2 drinks off of our bill as an apology. However, it would’ve been great if we were able to order a few drinks each in the first place. Overall, this was a very bad experience and we won’t be coming back for a date and will not be bringing clients here in the future. We’re willing to spend a lot of money for a good meal, but this was a bad experience and ruined our date night.
Been to HK Mayfair many times this being the worst experience;
Unfriendly waitress on this occasion & certainly didn’t warrant the auto applied service charge!
Chosen wine out of stock.
Felt rushed. SeaBass & Prawn dishes were average at best.
Has HK Mayfair has its day?!!
Food was excellent compared to experience at Nobu! Would recommend set menu of your choice that’s a good value for money and you get everything on the menu
The service is fantastic, someone is always ready to help.
The food is very high quality, with a good range.
It is a high end restaurant with a price to match. If you get there before 7PM you can order from the "Taste of Hakkasan" Menu which is £32 for a starter and main or £38 for 3 courses and a cocktail which is great value.
Will definitely be going back.
Good food as usual, however felt we were being rushed; for example the mains were brought to us before we had even finished our starters.
40th birthday celebration. We had lovely afternoon. Made to feel welcome. Food was lovely and lovely place for special occasion
Lovely dining experience - the cocktails were divine and the food was exceptional. The set menu is extremely good value!
Service is excellent. We were looked after throughout our dining experience. The drinks are amazing. Presentation of food and ambience is also very good and matches with the restaurant vibe. The starters of dim sum was good. Desserts were just amazing. I was not so keen on the main which tasted average to be eating in Hakkasan. Overall, excellent indeed and had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Great service and great venue. Overall good experience. Was a bit underwhelmed by the food. Had the £60 fixed menu at lunchtime. Dim sum and salad were excellent, but the mains were pretty bland. Slight disappointment given the reputation and the price. Hakkasan operates in a pretty competetive space with a lot of similar alternatives. Might be willing to give it another try at some point.
Fantastic,,,,,, excellent service and good food.
I would recommend this restaurant
Food and location were nice.
Service was bad for such a Restaurant.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, classy interior and a subline kitchen. Absolutely worth a visit
thanks and i have enjoyed my food. quit place and luxury
The price of the wines is extreme expensive. Better a bottle of wine than a glass. The meal and the service are superb
An entrancing interior behind a very subtle entrance door.
Staff were perfect from entrance to exit.
Food was exquisite. I mean: exquisite!
It’s pricey but you get what you pay for, we will definitely be back.
Late birthday celebration, never just a meal, always an occasion.
Very good food and very good service!!
Especially back truffle duck !!
Always good with this outlet
Food was delicious and extra effort was put into the service for my partner’s birthday which took us both by surprise and completed a perfect evening. Staff were friendly and helpful especially for allergen info.
Staff were amazing in the restaurant
Great atmosphere - friendly helpful waiter , ezcellent starter - had to reject inedible fatty beef black bean main course - so inedible couldnt even chew sufficiently to swallow ! In fairness they agreed not to charge for the dish. Dishes were brought to the table too quickly - you felt you were being rushed through the meal to get the next customer in . No desserts for people with nut allergies - cost for 2 people £200 - couldn’t recommend for special night out - didn’t feel exclusive given the price tag
Excellent trying to re book right now
Servers acted like they were doing us a favour. Forgot items ordered. Drinks took 40 minutes to arrive. Kept getting reminded that table was due back within two hours. Food was not up to previous high standards.
Very disappointed. Unlikely to return to what was once one of my favourite restaurants.
Expensive, for what it was, service not great, waited ages for food.
Food was lovely and the ambience too, arrived a little late and felt rushed throughout the meal to finish so they could turn the table around. Maybe justified with me being late, but felt uncomfortable. Would have preferred to be mentioned politely at the start of the meal that they needed the table by a certain time and I could have managed to comply myself.
Never disappoints - great food, service and vibe. Been several times and will definitely be back.
Am amazing restaurant. The food, ambience and service are all outstanding.
Bar room quite loud but fun. We were with kids so would have preferred the dining room. Just be aware unless you specify they may seat you in either room.
Nice restaurant with good ambience. The service is good, however I thin in terms of food choice and quality there are better places for gourmet cantonese food in London.
Wasn’t so nice
Subliem!! The place to be...
Consistently good. We waited in the bar for over 1 hour for our table - turned out the hostess forgot about us so gave our table away. Thankfully they were able to find one for us. Without asking, a manager came to apologise for the mix up. Great food, fabulous cocktails, very knowledgeable staff (all over what was gluten free) and great service.
