Nice evening. Excellent food. Attentive service.
Great food and service. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
Six of us all ordered starters, main dishes, and sides. We also ordered a cheese plate to begin. ALL of the food was unique, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Noise level was not loud at all, especially for a Saturday night. Overall just excellent!
There's a lot of sour grapes about HT in the reviews which you'll read above and below. Don't believe it. Night after night and year after year, this resto delivers some of the best food and service you'll find at any Boston establishment. It is this consistent attention to quality which keeps us coming back.
Good was great
Service s bit off
We waited s long time for our cocktails and then they arrived about two minutes before our food
Dinner was fantastic! Great food & great service!
This was a disappointing outing, uncharacteristic of other times we've been to the restaurant. I noted on my reservation that we were there for a birthday and the food allergies in our party. Neither was acknowledged. Not recognizing the birthday was OK until we saw that the next table over received a dessert with a candle on it. Food-wise, our party of 5 had the chicken liver pate (very good), field greens salad (very good), Yankee pot roast (good), lamb (good), herb-crusted chicken (not very warm, but good), and 2 pork chops. Neither pork chop was thoroughly cooked. The birthday person sent his back to be refired. When it came back, it was still uncooked in the center. The server asked if he wanted another pork chop and said that he'd take it off the bill. The guest said never mind to the additional meat....but then the server interpreted that to be "don't take it off the bill either." So we had to get that fixed. The server had to get the manager to remove it from the bill, but the manager didn't come over to our table to find out what was wrong. Sides (roasted cauliflower, roasted potatoes, roasted root veg) were fine, but not very warm. Desserts (pear almond cake, vegan chocolate mousse parfait) were delicious. The server seemed kind of overwhelmed with our party of 5, given that we all arrived at different times. There was a very large party next to us that may have been a factor, but they finished partway through our meal. The restaurant was also not very crowded, so we didn't understand why the service was not great. Overall, it didn't really seemed like any of the staff cared about or tried to do their best. Front of house was pleasant, but not very welcoming - we had to ask about parking validation. Food runners put food at the wrong places. We left having a substandard birthday celebration, and that really wasn't the vibe we were going for. I'm surprised that Henrietta's has turned into a hit-and-miss type of place. I'll think again before suggesting it.
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely Christmas Eve lunch at Henrietta's Table. The winter cocktails were delicious, as well as our Arugula Salad and entrees. I loved the Hot Chocolate cocktail and the gingerbread cheesecake! Happy New Year!
I hadn’t been here in years. New England fare usually doesn’t appeal to me, but they have spiced things up. Everything that could be locally sourced was, and everything was delicious!
Muy agradable todo (comida, servicio y ambiente)
Food and wine was very nice. Wait staff was a not as attentive as they should have been. Had to flag waiter down a couple of times for additional drinks.
While staying at The Charles Hotel this time, we had 2 breakfasts and 1 trip to the bar for drinks/appetizers. The food and cocktails were delicious and creative (chicken liver pate with pistachios!) and the restaurant & bar staff were friendly and professional.
Our party of 9 (ages 7 to 78) was well served at our post-Revels dinner.
Great food, reasonable portions and prompt, cheerful service. Thus we return to Henriettas
several times a year pre or post performance.
I really enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich, but those that gad the pot roast said it was dry.
Food arrived very quickly. Waiter checked a couple of times to make sure we were satisfied.
A wonderful menu and a delightful place for a quiet lunch or a celebration.
Our server was lovely and gracious. I love the ambiance. But the lunch was truly mediocre. Slabs of chicken and mayonnaise on white bread. Disappointing.
Wondering place for a Christmas Buffet
We celebrate Christmas here every year. The food is excellent but the price has gone up. We are not sure it is worth the new price given it is buffet and the decor has aged.
We attended the Christmas brunch. We arrived earlier than our reservation and were accomodated without much wait. The food selections were amazing, especially the salads and pates. Was a wonderful Christmas treat.
The Christmas buffet is our annual tradition for my Christmas birthday. Never, ever disappoints.
Went for dinner with family on Christmas Eve and had a great time. Food was delicious, service excellent and portions just about right. We have already signed up for celebrating NYE at this place and look forward to it. Definitely recommended!
The food was absolutely wonderful but I have never experienced such incompetent service in my life, especially at such a nice restaurant. First, we were brought bread with nuts right after we said one of us was deadly allergic. Then we were brought a second serving of bread with nuts when we asked for bread without nuts. Then the bread without nuts was brought to the wrong table. Then they forgot we ordered wine. Then they forgot what I had ordered for dinner, and had to come back and ask. Then they brought us lukewarm coffee. But the food was really really good.
Mother in Laws 80 th birthday brunch
Amazing place for our holiday brunch. The servers are just vibrantly lovely.
Eaten here a few times breakfast , lunch dinner and Sunday brunch consistently goid
Delicious food. Two great vegetarian options plus sides and salads. Nice atmosphere. Quiet, easy to talk. Will come again.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere, moderate noise level. Excellent service and food was superb.
Nice setting-service is great. Food is presented well- but our group did not find the food tasty-everything seemed bland
Our waiter was very nice and expedient. He knew we needed to leave by a certain time in order to make our show at the Sands Theater. The food was delicious and priced right. Decent wine selection. I didn't order a cocktail but I saw a few go by and they looked great. It's a fun atmosphere and all the staff we encountered was very nice.
While the food is good quality it isn’t easy to eat/- our chopped salad was way too big and the salume plate items awkwardly sized. It was so noisy we could hardly have a conversation.
Pleasant, lunch ant the Charles Hotel before theatre at the A.R.T. Good food, good service, and good value. Can’t beat it.
Wonderful array of lunch options all tastefully presented and delish! Also grabbed a gingerbread loaf to take home!
Chef Peter Davis has done more for the New England farmers then anyone in the Boston area. He has stayed true to the vision since it opened in 1995.

Expensive. Food tasty and looks nice. Not for a quick lunch - make sure you have time.
Always a great place to be. Food is top notch, service is great. What a friendly, comfortable place to dine.
New England classics and comfort food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Always reliable.
Excellent food and poor service. Entries were served before wine was corked.
Cheerful mood, set by life size perky pig sculpture at entrance. The chef's charming gingerbread house also greeted us. Nice service, interesting menu, and delicious choices, though my chicken club was just ok, a little messy. The chili and the special turkey grilled sandwich of the day were terrific, as was the apple pie and ice cream, plus the chocolate bread pudding was yummy. A nice place to meet friends.
I have been coming to Henrietta's Table every 4-6 weeks with my cousin for years. The food has never disappointed and the wait staff are usually very friendly and professional.
