I said the reservation was for a birthday. They made no mention of it. The server took forever to come back and check on us. No water refills! 2 trips for a dessert to go and then the to go containers. It took way longer than I feel it should have. Rose, our server was very friendly and nice. And she was tipped well!!

Two of us were splitting a fish meal but the server brought two by mistake. We just figured they were generous portions. 5 mins later server took it away! Had been a mistake; they gave us two rather than one split in two. Such bad form to take one away. Their mistake and what were they going to do with the second one, throw it out?

100% recommend! We had the steak and the special which was a pork chop. It was all delicious! Our server, Lauren, was amazing! Super sweet and very attentive. There was live music at the restaurant below so it was perfect! We enjoyed it so much we begged them to fit us in for another night while we are here since all spots were full. We can’t wait to go back!

Shout out to Canyon and Michael, amazing server and host at Hula Grill Waikiki! Excellent service to go with the beautiful ambience. This local Hawaiian lady is willing to travel to Waikiki for a wonderful eating and social experience because of Hula Grill and their employees. And I don't go to Waikiki often. :)

Reserved online from the waiting area. Got right in. Food was very good for both my wife and I. Drinks were great. Just off the beach so if you complain about the view, then there is something wrong with you. Service was great. Our server was spot on and chatted with us quite a bit.

I came on a Saturday morning for the weekend brunch. I ordered the vegetarian omelet with egg whites only, and Hula Grill accommodated my request. I was very pleased with the freshness, quality, appearance, and taste of the food. It was a generous portion with lots of veggies sauteed to perfection! It was a great value for the price, and I highly recommend Hula Grill to locals and tourists. In addition, we had an outstanding server named Ocean who was attentive to our needs and pleasantly chatted with us during the moments she came by our table. I have lived in Honolulu almost two years and have sampled many restaurants, but I can honestly say that Hula Grill-Waikiki is one of the best places at which I have ever eaten on Oahu! Mahalo!

We (family of 3) went to Hula Grill for brunch on Saturday prior to heading to the airport to head home. We are very happy we did. The food we had was delicious and our server, Johnathon, was very friendly and attentive. The view of the Pacific Ocean is spectacular when sitting in the area open outdoors. Be sure to make a reservation for Brunch. We enjoyed the Peanut Butter and Bacon French Toast, Acai bowl, and Avocado toast. The food was fantastic and we highly recommend this establishment. It is part of the same restaurant group that runs Duke's on the first floor.
