Il Mulino New York - South Beach
This restaurant is among our top 2 or 3 favorites in South Beach. Superb cuisine, artfully prepared, an interesting wine list, gracious service in a most lovely setting. Not to be missed by those who really love good food!
as always this location is as goods the NYC restaurant. The attention to detail is perfect, everyone is accommodating and the food is delicious
Wonderful!! Io cameriere erano molto buoni!
We got at the restaurant at 2 pm, and it was empty. We even thought about looking for some other place... so glad we didn’t do that. Service was amazing, and food was even better. We had baked clams, carpaccio, beef tartar, pastas...
What a great meal! Only one server, and other people arrived later, and he was able to manage every table. A young Roman guy.
Always excellent food and excellent service.
This place is a shell of itself. (We used to love it). Food is mediocre @ best. Service is fine. Prices not worthy of the product. Too bad.
The services is chaotic.
Can count on good service and quality food.
An embarrassing experience. Service was disorganized and terrible. The waiter kept on upwelling, he was aggressive and the experience was unpleasant. On top of it, he ruined my fathers birthday. He announced that we were getting a birthday cake before the cake was brought out. Pretty ridiculous experience. I would not return.
This is a very consistent restaurant menu. I live in the neighborhood and find it to be one of the places I can always count on for a good meal or to entertain family, friends and business associates. I also enjoy meeting there for cocktails at the bar. Excellent staff and service.
Nice looking all white decoration, very good Italian food, attentive service. Negative was the lout music that is so unnecessary when you have all people talking on the tables and make difficult for hearing each other. If music is needed (don't know why because in Europe is not done), it should be background music, and never with saxophone and other lout sounds....
Other than the music, everything else was very good. I will come back for sure.
We went for Christmas Eve and there was not one holiday decoration in the whole place. It could have been any day of the year. Also, we were celebrating a Birthday and they forgot to bring the candle and they really did not care one bit. The food was fine.
Great meal. Great service. I'm a big fan of IL Mulino new york. This outpost quite different in style and menu. Yet equally terrific.
The food was good however not sure we would go back. It sadly wasn’t reminiscent of the NYC original.
Spectacular enough said ,highly recommended to all .
We live across the street and have dined here several times. The last time we had a reservation it was raining and apparently no one got there to open up for 11:30 AM lunch reservation. You never contacted us and left us stranded in the pouring rain. Last year for art Basel weekend your service was horrendous. This year, the lousy attitude of our waitress made for an uncomfortable dining experience. Despite your proximity to our condo, I doubt we will return. It is obvious that you don’t care about our dining experience. You do not deserve our patronage.
We ordered bottled water, the waiter was constantly filling our already full glasses with more water. I find this annoying and obnoxious.
Very disappointing food..
Beware! They advertise a special lunch menu on their website which is a great value and perfect portion sizes for lunch. However, now that is "season" in Miami Beach, they only offer the dinner menu for lunch.
Poor service. Inattentive staff. No manager in sight.
Everything was great accept the chicken parmigiana . The Chicken was Thick It had No sauce just had cheese , it was awful . I had to send it back . The waitress said that she was going to take it off the bell and then she ordered us desert and said it was on the house I was on the end she round of charging us for the chicken cutlet anyway.
She was a very nice waitress but I was disappointed in that
The A staff was clearly not working with that said the staff there did try.
Elegant, warm, inviting and food was excellent!
Excellent service! So much food! But everything was wonderful!
In one word, FANTASTIC! Great service, atmosphere, and of course the food. The staff was synchronized to perfection. The key to a great restaurant is of course the food, but the fact that we were served our food at the same time. Neither of us had to wait for the other to get something. Bravo! We will definitely come back next time in Miami.
While the food was good, the service was eoefully lacking. The server was chatting with a coworker until we reminded her we hadn’t ordered. It took an hour to get our entry’s snd there was only one other table occupied.
When we finally called the captain, things picked up.
The food was excellent but the overall experience was very disappointing.
I dined on a slow Sunday night with my parents. The service was phenomenal, but they were out of the dish that my parents ordered which was a slight inconvenience, but they were very accommodating and found something that my parents enjoyed a lot. All of the food was excellent (including the complimentary cheese, bruschetta, and spicy zucchini at the beginning).
So the food is amazing - among the best Italian you’ll find. Service is fair - server messed up drink order and desert order
We live in the neighborhood and always take notice of how empty this restaurant seems to always be.
Last night it was pretty busy and it’s obvious that they may not have been prepared. I’m still not sure who our server was.
We ordered our wine, which by the way, was the only good part of the experience. It took a while for someone to take our food order, we shared a grilled octopus, my husband had the lobster ravioli and I had the tuna carpaccio as my entree. None of it was good, food was lukewarm and not good tasting. The lobster ravioli had chunks of salmon on top, odd way to prepare this dish. We made a comment to the host, who was the one who brought the dish to the table and his comment was “more protein for you”.
Once the half eaten food was taken from the table, I told one of the three servers that it was my husbands bday.
No one came to ask if we wanted dessert, and once we finished our wine we asked for the bill and left.
Needless to say we will not be returning.
Horrible service. Very confused staff mid managed average fare
I did not receive the 100 points credit for our lunch on Sept 17th The food was very good and service excellent
It was very good, but I feel they cut back on some of the foods they provided before dinner . They used to have cut salami along with the Parmesan. It was still very good. They give you Parmesan cheese, fried zucchini, and bread before you order your meal.
We had an outstanding 7:00 PM Friday dinner in an almost empty restaurant (almost full when we left at 8:15). Excellent service, food, and ambiance. Appetizers, lentil soup, pasta, and veal entrees all excellent. Certainly, a top Miami Italian. Staff was outstanding.
Great food and very attentive service! Speed was perfect - never waited long or felt rushed in any way. Down side - $15 valet parking. Will reconsider returning based only on that.
Have been to NYC and Sunny Isles and been this was the first time at the SOBE location. Food was mediocre but what was good is the porcini rlmelushroon ravioli.
Great food, service, music, decor!
One of The best italians of All Miami .
Really Special food
Great appetizers, great service, atmosphere and dessert. Very small main course but may be because of Miami spice.
Not enough words to describe how awesome the food is!!
Nice place. Nice ambience. Bad food.
My wife had a Veal Milanese that looked and tasted as airplane microwave cooked food.
I had a Saltimboca and I still cannot define what it was nor how it tasted! Sorry guys, didn't like it at all.
