   Great experience however the pesto sauce was very bland like it was completely missing an ingredient. Lavender lemon drop was fabulous. Server was very pleasant and timely. Gorgeous decor on patio.

   Food was outstanding. We had the pasta, which was very tasty, served with a light sauce. One of the best Italian meals I have had in a very long time. The service was disappointing; waited for a long time to be served our wine while the waiter paid more attention to a six top that arrived after we did (serving multiple rounds of cocktails while we waited). The service continued to be disappointing--we could not get our waiter's attention to be offered ground pepper until half way through the meal (we ultimately had to get up and walk inside from the courtyard where we were seated to ask for it). Waiter seemed to do his best to avoid eye contact throughout the meal, which was frustrating. Overall an excellent meal and nice environment, which was let down only by the indifferent service.

   We go to this restaurant like once or twice a year. Not very often, but for many years now. Usually, we are really happy with the food. But this time the menu had become much smaller and we were not really happy with the options. One pasta we ordered was very greasy - too much cheese. Another one - Ravioli with artichokes - had only a few Raviolios and too many artichokes. The taste was OKish, too much oil though. The flatbread Margherita didn't have cheese but a cheese sauce instead. My daughter didn't like it so I tasted it, too. It tasted of nothing. We returned half of the flatbread in the end. Steaks are very expensive and the menu is pretty restrictive. I hope they add more choices there soon. I like the restaurant because of its nice Italian ambiance and the nice staff. Hope the food will be better next time.

   We often go here for celebratory brunch as we can sit on the lovely outside patio with our dog. I had excellent french toast, just the way I like it very creamy on inside. Husband had an omelet and son had the heuvos - they were both very happy with their meals. I also had a bloody mary - also very good. Very pretty patio for outdoor dining, and nice attentive staff.

   When we arrived 20 before our reservation, we were seated immediately no wait. Water was served almost as soon as were seated along with some delicious crispy garlic bread. Our drinks and food arrived in a timely manner. Food was amazing I ordered there nights special, and it did not disappoint. My date's dinner was also amazing. Overall, a great experience and will defiantly make reservations there again.

   We reserved an outside patio table for Father’s Day. What a beautiful garden atmosphere, and I love the space heaters. We had a great time, and loved the food.

    Great spot in Half Moon Bay, in the middle of Main Street, for a Father's Day brunch! Food just OK from the lunch time menu, potatoes and sausages tasted rewarmed not freshly made, also out of certain lagers which was disappointing. Service was very good though.

    it's italia is excellent, it's a keeper! (1) outdoor seating fantastic! atrium surrounded by bldg walls + tent tops = HMB wind/chill protection (+ heat lamps & 2 fireplaces!). spacious & tables are far apart. (2) menu w/ many choices. (3) clam & mussel, house made gnocchi w/ truffle sauce, halibut special -- all italia style & outstanding tastes. (4) drinks & capuccino are flawless. (5) service is courteous & helpful. staff all wear masks! what a wonderful & enjoyable night. we walked by the indoor section. beautiful, authentic tuscany decor. little italy in HMB, bravo!

    Disappointing! Huevos rancheros were terrible… too many overcooked peppers served on a hard pancake like tortilla that was impossible to cut.

    Great Italian restaurant and food in downtown Half Moon Bay! Lots of street parking. Large menu and wine selections. You will not go wrong, and both your stomach and you will be very happy!

    We really enjoyed our food. The halibut and pasta carbonara were delicious. We were seated on the patio which is beautiful. Unfortunately there was a child running around tables, screaming and coughing which ruined our dinner. The music was nice, but a little loud. I definitely would return, but make reservations for inside next time.

    I’d twice previously enjoyed dinner with friends at It’s Italia. A friend/ neighbor & I wanted to take another friend/neighbor out to celebrate her 95th birthday. With slightly warmer, sunny weather & the current Covid situation, I made reservations for us for a late brunch on It’s Italia’s outdoor patio. It was lovely, the food was very good, as was the service. Except for the fact that, although I had indicated we were celebrating a birthday, we weren’t offered a dessert menu. The table was cleared & we were brought the check. A disappointment. But not significant enough to prevent future enjoyment of It’s Italia.

    What a great discovery in Half Moon Bay. We had an amazing brunch yesterday...the salmon Niçoise was perfect ( I ordered mine medium) and all of the accountments were first rate. The bloody Mary was marvelous as was the ambiance on the lovely patio. Our waiter was also super. When we requested a table out of the sun, he quickly moved us to a more pleasant location for a non-sun lover. We found everything about the restaurant to be perfect and plan to return on a Sunday soon just for the delightful Sunday brunch.

    Bar service very poor. Husband ordered Irish whiskey and got Rye. I ordered Hendrick's and tonic w Cucumber garnish and got a lime, served w explanation that they didn't have cucumber. I ordered a second martini, but on the rocks. I was brought a glass of vodka neat, with a separate glass of ice.

    Had Mothers Day brunch on the back patio next to the fireplace. Very beautiful setting. Service was friendly and attentive. The French toast was fluffy and delicious. The Ricotta omelette was fresh and tasty. Side of bacon was a perfect addition to the meal. Really enjoyed our experience!

    Always a pleasure to dine at It's Italia. They have managed to provide dining continuity through the pandemic, whether outdoors or take-out, and have opened the dining room for people who feel comfortable there. The staff is still masked, which I really appreciate.

    Excellent food, decent service but could stand to be a little more attentive to water and drink service. It’s a very loud room but nicely appointed. You won’t be disappointed unless you are looking for an intimate setting.

    The food was outstanding. It was some of the best food we have had on our trip. However, we got there at 3 PM and had to wait almost 50 minutes for the food. The music was quite loud and the server seemed occupied with something.

    The wait staff were attentive and kept our water topped up and checked on us frequently. I’m a big water drinker so that’s a big deal for me. Our food was great: paella, Salmon and short ribs . The seafood tasted fresh and delicious, the sort ribs on polenta were “very nice” according to my husband.
