The tuna was almost raw and did not seem fresh or high grade. The appetizer salads were mediocre. The kitchen messed up one appetizer and did not put the dressing on the side. The beer was served without a glass and the waitress did not even ask.

Excellent meal combined with excellent service and a great vibe made for a fantastic night out! Highly recommend this tried and true gem! There are newer establishments that some will tell you they love and some will tell you they don't, so why even chance it, and just go to Johnny's Café whose reputation of excellence is well deserved! PS. The meatball appetizer is a must and I usually never try anyone's meatballs!

We sat outback which was very nice. The service was slow. It took a while to order and receive our second round of drinks. Our reservations were for 8:45 and unfortunately they ran out of shrimp cocktail and the Bronzino special, Overall the food was delicious and the server was very nice. The indoor vibe was very busy and got louder and busier as the evening progressed. They have live music and a club vibe. If you’re looking for quiet intimate dining request outside. If you like a busy club atmosphere you’d enjoy inside.

We had an excellent waiter who was attentive & took the extra time to make sure my husband’s dietary restrictions were taken care of. The Chilean sea bass special was fresh & tasty. The Cobb salad with chicken was refreshing & filling. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a disappointing experience celebrating my husband’s birthday at Johnny’s. The noise level was extremely loud, and we could not have a conversation even at our table with a party of 5. The food did taste pretty good, but unfortunately our 7-year-old daughter’s meal had a fly cooked into it. We had to ask to remove the charge for her dish on the bill. When the bill was redone, gratuity was added when it hadn’t been before. The restaurant did also offer to comp my husband’s slice of cake. It seemed like bare minimum to address a bug cooked into the food, and the noise level alone would be reason enough on its own to not return.

Service was friendly and attentive. But the food was poor. The eggplant caprese was heavily fried and so thin you couldn’t taste the eggplant. The chicken Milanese was also overly fried and tasteless. The side of pasta (rigatoni) was far from Al dente. Overall very disappointed. It’s been since pre Covid that we ate there last, live only a few blocks away and were hoping to add another restaurant to our menu of regulars. Sadly Johnnies still isn’t going to make the cut.

My wife had the lobster special and it was outstanding. Half of lobster stuffed with crab meat and two of the largest shrimp I’ve seen. The bow tie and crab dish was also very good. All while being entertained by Johntourage who by the way was great. Our waiter Cater did a great job serving us along with the rest of the wait staff. If your looking for a night out I would highly suggest Johnnies.

We have always enjoyed Johnny’s previously so we may give the restaurant another chance. The food was below par and prices have gone up considerably.. Our waiter was smug and not warm at all when cam over to the table, leaned on the table and said they were out of sparkling water so he guessed we’d have tap water. Then he disappeared and a young woman took over, saying they were working as a team. We didn’t see him again until he brought us the check. The calamari was tough and cut too big, the beet salad not attractive, the ribeye only ok, the filet was dry and overcooked. The meats were presented with garlic potatoes and plain steamed asparagus in such an uninteresting and unappealing manner for $60. The crème brûlée had a measly texture and simply wasn’t worth the calories. Maybe they are tired.

Understaffed. Service was awful. We waited for 30 minutes after we sat down for a glass of wine and a similar amount of time after that to get our dinner. On trees came out not as described, but we didn’t want to take the time to send them back. The food was good, but they have to do a heck of a lot better with the service before I’ll come back

Very nice place! We were seated on the back patio. We sat for 25 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or even gave us water. After we finally had a server come to our table the rest of the meal went smoothly. Our meals and drinks were delicious. We will definitely be back

We have always had really really good experiences at Jonnys. We went and I do not know what was up but the food was only ok. We were really surprised and disappointed. Most of the food was not really seasoned. It was a very busy night so not sure if that was it but we sadly will not be hurrying back.
