Emmanuel was absolutely awesome and really made us feel special for our celebratory meal after our marriage. Amazing view and atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Amazing experience. Dress appropriately. It’s not a jeans restaurant
In front of the White House the use the view w for restaurant which is okay view. The same as the W hotel. The food is good, what bring the restaurant down is the hotel staff, the staff is trained to work for holiday inn but get a better job by chance. No one want to do their job in welcoming manner. I visit this restaurant 4 time. I loved the bar downstairs off the record it was good. However , the restaurant rooftop has not been remodel for ten years. St Regis hotel restaurant and the four season stake house is 10000% better value for money.
Rooms in the hotel is like Marriott little bit better the location helps it’s 400 cheaper than FourSeason’s may be 150 cheaper than st Regis or Jefferson. The building and the management make it non luxury Experience. I would say 6 out of ten. I have been in 100% better places in dc
Horrible staff in the Hotel the place have not been remodelled for ten years the food and view is good. When you visit you will go through the lobby you will be greeted with great bellman and after that you be treated very poorly with very untrained by 4 star hotel staff for non star restaurant. The staff show no respect and act like it’s a holiday inn nonsense or Luxury. I am shocked or how a staff can bring the value of the place. Everyone looks angry and they truly don’t want to do their job. I don’t it’s due to Covid 19 or because the hotel is political charged. I would see you can get better view and service in the POV or St Regis hotel. If you want to better food and luxury service four seasons is where you truly want to be.
The only issue is that the person at the restaurant who took my call ("George") did not come through with my request regarding my husband's birthday. When we arrived, there was no "George" and the host acted as if we did not have reservations. It was a bit disappointing. Because it was a surprise dinner for my husband, I put on a positive attitude. The table that "George" said would be prepared was not prepared. We had a back table. If restaurant employees have the habit of giving false names to inquiries, they should stop. It makes the restaurant look bad and customers like me feel bad.
The most amazing experience. Hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Loved the china and silver, so elegant. And the view of the White House was breathtaking!
Went for afternoon tea at the Hays Adams Hotel. Because of protestors, the street was closed to traffic. Our Uber driver dropped us off at the corner. The tea takes place on the rooftop with the most amazing view of the White House and Black Lives Matter plaza. We could also see the protestors below. Great photo ops with the White House. The service was very good. Food wasn't bad, but not that much food for the money. May 3-4 small savory things, scones, and 3 sweet things. The scones (cherry almond) were very good. What you're paying here is for the atmosphere (very tranquil), service, and fantastic view. Very nice. You're not really here for the food.
Cumpleños. Desayuno, la vista espectacular. Servicio genial,
la comida nada extraordinario, pero es una parada que no puedes perder, así que con un pan francés que es delicioso y un café quedas perfecto!
We really enjoyed the Lafayette Restaurant. George made our dining experience/birthday celebration absolutely amazing!
The "temporary locale on the 9th floor creates a very special environment for a celebratory dinner. Although the menu was limited
, everything we ordered was delicious.
Every thing was good. Except the reservation
I booked through open table I got my reservation number, but when I arrived to the restaurant, manager had no clue about my reservation, this was second time happening to me
I loved everything about this restaurant. Every single thing!
Excellent & classy restaurant. Highly Recommend :)
Phenomenal! Everything was perfect!
The High Tea experience was lack luster, specifically the food and weak tea, but the view is well worth the money spent.
The food was delicious! The drinks were great! And the ambiance was just what we were looking for❤ Our waiter Manuel was awesome! He took great care of us. I would definitely recommend.
Magnificent view, complemented by exceptional service and delicious food. The souflee' was so delicious!
Beautiful restaurant. Jose is an amazing server.
Delicious food, great service, fantastic view! Great for a romantic brunch or dinner. There are options for vegans which I was ecstatic to see! Parking is also available for a reasonable fee...be sure to tell the concierge that you dined here.
Attentive staff , great place for business breakfast or lunch
Great food, service and incredible views of the White House
We love this spot. When we need a dose of civilization this is where we turn.
Not enough choices on menu
Awesome experience and best view of the whitehouse!
Great experience and the view is amazing. Great service and food. Really enjoyed it!
Celebrating my wife’s birthday. Beautiful evening. Perfect in all areas.
Superb food and staff. Awesome view. They were respectful of my time constraints.
Superb in every way.
This is truly a gem in DC. Food, ambience and of course, the view are all exquisite. I also want to commend the hotel receptionist, restaurant host and server for their wonderful service.
Our server was Maachi and he was absolutely phenomenal making our engagement incredibly memorable! The servers and the food are out of the world. No words come close to expressing how amazing this experience was! For anyone living or visiting DC, this is an absolute must visit and eat even stay!!
The Lafayette Restaurant never disappoints - from the soups and salads to the entrees and desserts. The service is superb and you can't beat the view from the 9th floor!
If time is an issue, try a Pear Martini in the cocktail lounge with their cheese and charcuterie boards. Yum!
Amazing views from the patio. So quiet and peaceful. A great way to start the morning.
Everyone was so great! View is amazing! Definitely a great place to try!
I would highly recommend the afternoon tea. The staff are always so welcoming and make the experience pleasant.
Wonderful service, delicious food and the best view in the city!
Un restaurante que ofrece un alto nivel gastronómico y una vista excepcional
Couldn't have had a better meal. The service was excellent. The staff could not have been more attentive. I give it 5 stars
Beautiful atmosphere and early on a Saturday morning was perfect. If you are looking to get the view but not spend as much as dinner, breakfast is the way to go. Wonderful lattes, yummy green juice, and great breakfast options. The view was perfect for my friends first time in DC.
Great experience and view of the city. Although menu is very short, it is worth visiting.
It was a formidable experience. Asked my then girlfriend to marry me ( n she said yes).
We had the best waiter ever ( his name was Emmanuel). Will definitely came there again.
