Your appetite for mouth watering food at a friendly place where you can hang out and enjoy the atmosphere is satisfied at the Laguna Café. When you sit down at our unique restaurant, you're served food that has over 84 combined years of experience and inspiration behind it.
We have over 90 wines, a dozen beers and cocktails from our new bar.
We enjoy the relaxing environment. The Mushroom-Brie soup is great, as was my Filet Mignon.
This is by far the best restaurant for homemade cooking in Spokane. Very personable, always makes you feel at home and friendly personable service.
Very charming spot. Nice menu with a great assortment of offerings. Love that they put Keto friendly on the menu. We will be back!
We have been doing the Keto Diet... It was so nice to see the menu Keto friendly!!!
First time there and pleasantly surprised. We saw the drive thru and worried, but the food was amazing and Rebecca was awesome.
Great food and atmosphere- service was not so good but very busy with large group-forgot salad and no water refill after requested
Dan and Debbie (and the whole staff) totally knock it out of the park every time I have eaten at the Laguna Cafe. The food is always excellent, service is superb and the ambiance is always wonderful. Debbie and her crew perform miracles back in the kitchen while Dan keeps everything flowing out front - always having the time to stop by at every table to check in, make sure that everything is up to standard and then brings a personal touch to tell a story about how a particular dish was developed or a reflection on life with a great story or joke. This is an outstanding local restaurant that goes above and beyond because they care about you, the amazing food and fun atmosphere they proudly create. I can’t recommend the Laguna Cafe enough. Whenever I have a celebration or have friends or family in town, this is where we always go because I can guarantee it will be a perfect meal and a fun evening. Support a local business. You won’t be disappointed.
They charge a service fee when using a passport card. When you ask them about it, they say passport requires it. Not true, I use the passport card all over town and no one else charges a servicing fee. Just be sure to not over too as the service fee is considered the tip.
Friendly staff, great food and drinks. The specials and the regular menu offer great variety.
From start to finish it was a lovely night.
It's hit or miss at this place. This time it was a miss. I would go back, because last time it was great.
We have always had excellent food exceeded only by the friendly, caring service by the owner and wait staff. This a wonderful place to dine!
Laguna is amazing. Be aware of the added on tip. It checks all the boxes and you can make reservations on line.
Great restaurant and wonderful food. There is a bar so you can get alcohol with your meal. Ambiance is wonderful, I will definitely be going here again.
This restaurant is family owned and their attention to detail with excellent food demonstrates their commitment to our Community. Nice place for a quick meal, casual dining or lingering conversations.
Live music was too loud. Would have been more pleasant without being amplified. Varied menu w/ many great selections. Service while pleasant seemed disorganized.
Nice atmosphere, good service, excellent food. Staff was friendly and welcoming. A new favorite we will frequent regularly.
Food was fair, nothing special and so a bit overpriced. There was a weird guy walking around asking how food was and cracking not so funny jokes.
Excellent food and service. Owner is always present and acts as host. Its a gem.
We had a great time at Laguna Cafe. We had a party of 8 and they had the best setup I have seen in a restaurant for group this size. It was a high top square table with a lazy susan in the middle.
So often with large groups the conversation breaks into small groups but this table made it easy for conversation.
The food was very good and the service was good also. The thing that left us wondering was the mandatory 15% service charge (which was also subject to sales tax). It seemed to be excessive and also almost sneaky. If you need to raise menu prices to pay a fair wage, that is understandable, however, this strategy doesn't seem right somehow. It's too bad, because we enjoyed going to Laguna prior to this visit. Not sure we will be returning though, with this uneasy development.
Great food and atmosphere. The owner welcome as and followed up on how we enjoyed a dinner. Home like atmosphere.
Love this place! The Thanksgiving Dinner (all year round) satisfies your turkey craving. The seafood crostini is delicious and unusual. And the chocolate torte — no words for the decadent treat!
Wonderful food and handmade cocktails. Just had to have the dessert too.
We have an excellent lunch at Laguna Cafe. Ate outside since weather nice. Area outside on the road, but still nice for lunch. We had a vey good server who was attentive in spite of having a number of tables to cover. Impressed by quality of iced tea. My guest had the crab salad. It had a good amount of crab on it and nice bed of greens. I had the chicken caesar wrap. Perfectly done as I would expect from a california themed place. More than I needed so the rest became my lunch the next day. Will be going back.
The service was outstanding. Very friendly and fun staff. We never felt rushed. Food was outstanding and the desserts are totally worth the extra calories!
service was outstanding. always feel very welcomed when eating here. the owner goes out of his way to take care of you and staff is beyond pleasant
Dan and his family express their Sicialian roots in the friendly ambience, and the fresh ingredients, innovative cooking, and careful attention to pairingit with wine, served in properly chosen glassware. The standard menu each season presents delicious choices, but always wait for the daily specials, especialy fresh catch seafood, and endless shrimp.
We have been to Laguna many times for lunch and dinner and once for breakfast and have ejoyed every minute of being there. We have always enjoyed the food and the service is excellent. We have found the smaller size plates give you a chance to try many menu items and help you find your favorite although you better be hungery if you order the regular size meals. If you ask me just more to Enjoy.
Dan, the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about food and wine pairings. Great place to dine.
Great food, exceptional service and friendly staff. The quality and quantity of food exceptional.
The owner is very concerned that everything is just perfect. He's very involved with the restaurant service, etc. ... not hiding out in the back room like we've encountered at other places.
Give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
Mother's Day outing. Did not feel being "rushed" during their busy time period. Food and service was great. Nice visit with one of the owners as we were leaving. He made us feel that he really appreciated our business!
Mother’s Day. We had reservations for 6 and I called to make it for 7. They said they could put us on the patio.
Patio is covered but right next to a busy road with lots of road noise. The chairs and tables were metal. Even though we had reservations they are not ready for us which would make sense if they were busy, they were not. Two tables put together with one very wobbly.
Service was fine but forgot to give us utensils until we asked after all the food was delivered. The host/owner(?) was very nice and helped ease my frustration with not researching this place more carefully to know the breakfast menu was very limited and the patio was very noisy.
To top it off as we left I saw several tables inside of 6 that had not been sat in at all throughout our meal.
Laguna has become my neighborhood favorite and friends who dined with me have traversed the city to return with their spouses. The atmosphere is a marvelous balance of casual and classy, warm and fun. Often the owners pop over to check in with customers and offer suggestions. Both are amiable and very knowledgeable. Who would believe pasta carbonara could be so light and bright tasting! The (infrequent) lamb chops were delicate and perfectly cooked. Desserts are delectable and perfectly portioned. Definitely return engagement worthy!
What can I say - this was our third time in two weeks, Dan is a gem, as is Chef Debbie. Fabulous wine list and knowledge, and Laguna is now our favorite restaurant in Spokane. We had three really great experiences. Love the restaurant, the food, the staff, the owners, and especvially the wine list.
Our new favorite restaurant (during two back-to-back weekend visit from Walla Walla to visit a friend in the hospital, we dined at Laguna three times!)..... Dan was so helpful with wine, the history of the restaurant, and the food options, and the staff and Debbie the Chef were amazing. Just a relaxed, joyful experience. The desserts, especially the amazing multi-layer chocolate cake, not to mention the Key Lime and Lrmon desserts, were just amazing. We are already planning future visits. A Spokane treasure.
Most fun, surprising, special, delicious, unique, exceptional dinner and evening in years. Dan made food suggestions, came up with a wonderful Pinot Noir from Oregon we had never experienced, and helped us pair food with the wine. A truly great night, and we are planning on returning every time we are in Spokane. We felt so at home there, so taken care of, and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere immensely.
Excellent as always. They also have my favorite desserts & the cake is always so moist!
Excellent in every way, with a reasonably priced menu. Warm, accessible owner, excellent waiter, a special occasion jewel.
