We started with a delicious Caesar salad. We both enjoyed our steaks-my husband had the 22oz. bone-in sirloin and I had the 10oz. filet. The Au Gratin potatoes were the perfect side on a cold and windy evening. They were served in a cast iron pan and were nice and warm during our meal. We finished our meal with a Cappuccino for me and we shared a fabulous slice of the chocolate mocha cake. Our server Kristin sat us at a wonderful window side table. While the food was acceptable, I remember it from year’s ago being much better. For example, the chicken pot pie was a bowl of shredded chicken and vegetables with a piece of crusty bread placed on top. Difficult to eat and not entirely appetizing. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive and the seating was comfortable. Horseshoe is worth a visit.
