Restaurants near Arboretum at Great Hills Mall

We had family in town for our daughter’s high school graduation. Family and friends wanted to get together after the graduation for a casual celebration, so I decided to book at Knotty Deck since a few people were staying there. I made note of the occasion on the reservation and they gave us a private area and even had Congratulations messaging for our daughter! They took SUCH GREAT CARE of our group. The staff was exceptional, as was the food and drinks. People ordered food on their own, all great, and then we ordered shareable desserts for everyone so I could add a toothpick decoration we brought with us, and they were so yummy! We chose strawberry cheesecake that had fresh crushed strawberries on top, and some sort of chocolate mousse cake. Yum! The bar itself is cool, plenty of tables and a variety of seating options, and it has this great deck with a pretty view. The hotel is really nice, and has a cool Austin-y vibe. In the lobby and central area there are several comfortable seating areas with couches and chairs that we used after the bar closed, and some cool art that is perfect for photo backdrops. This was a great experience, and being local we will definitely be back. I’m so glad to know about Knotty Deck, it will be a fun place to revisit individually or with a group.

Awesome Mother’s Day brunch. Perfect spot for this occasion

They had 2 dinner specials, one a couple of dollars more - both under $20. but they were confusing. Regardless, food and everything else was great. There on a Saturday night. Not busy, but don't know why. Hope it was an aberration.
