Best Quality Daughter houses a vibrant, chic décor and new, unique Asian-American menu. In 2018, chef Jennifer Hwa Dobbertin, wanting to address the sparsity of Asian-American female chefs in South Texas, developed a new concept through a series of pop-up dinners called Best Quality Daughter with fellow chef Anne Ng and artist Jennifer Ling Datchuk. Today Best Quality Daughter is located in the historic Mueller House at the Pearl Brewery. Curated by chef Jennifer Hwa Dobbertin, Best Quality Daughter's menu takes inspiration from her travels and the comfort food of her youth as a second-generation Chinese-American.

This was my first experience with Peruvian food and OMG! It was amazing. Every dish was amazing. If I had to pick a favorite I would say the ceviche was most exceptional. Our server was darling, attentive, and very well informed. It made our experience that much better. I would say it was one of my best birthday dinners

A great place in n the Riverwalk. Our sever (Malek, if I remember correctly) was excellent. The hatch cheese dip with chorizo was a winner. My wife and I got the chicken sandwich and the burger and split them so we each had a half. We both agreed the burger was pretty good but the chicken was excellent. Lastly, it was my wife’s birthday so they brought her some churros with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces that were amazingly good. It’s pricey for what it is, like everything on the Riverwalk, but overall an excellent experience so we didn’t mind the cost.
