Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and knew how to time our three course meal and she checked on us for every single dish we were served: we felt taking care of! The risotto with mushroom and asparagus was phenomenal! I had the lamb…punchy flavors and the meat very tender and my husband had the duck breast…another stunning dish. Highly recommended!

We went to Ocean Prime for a birthday dinner, and from the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The service is truly top‑tier — attentive, welcoming, and polished. The food was outstanding across the board. There were four of us, and each person ordered something different: I had a perfectly cooked steak, one person ordered the lobster roll that looked insanely delicious, another had the scallops that were incredibly fresh, and someone else ordered fish. Every single dish was a hit, and we were all extremely happy with our meals. Dessert took things to another level — the Sky High Carrot Cake was out of this world and absolutely blew us away. It was genuinely one of the best desserts we’ve had. We left already talking about when we’ll be back. Ocean Prime made the birthday celebration feel special from start to finish.

Just an amazing dinner overall. Authentic Brooklyn Italian was the descriptor, and it was right on point!!! If you are looking for heaping plates of mediocre pasta, go elsewhere! Riley was our server and she did not lead us astray. They suggest 2-3 items per person, and luckily my wife and I are the sharing types (so you get to try more flavors!!!). They recommend placing the entire order up front and they will pace. Just let them know if you are looking for a slower paced meal. We started with the Fresh House Made Mozzarella and added the caprese - beautiful slices of amazing tomatoes. We then added the Crispy cauliflower piccata with lemon-caper butter - so tasty!!. For the main, we chose the highly recommended Chicken Parm (huge and did not disappoint). Two delicious pastas were the Buccatini Cacio e Pepe (percorino cheese & pepper) and Campenelle Shrimp Limone (creamy and lemony!). Pastas were perfectly al dente and had flavors galore! Cocktails were well balanced, and the dark chocolate Budino (between mousse & pudding) was a terrific ending to our meal - it was big enough to share! The manager Adial stopped over before our meal to introduce himself and welcome us to this family-owned restaurant. He also checked in on us and others - definitely a team serving atmosphere, so all of the food came out hot. There are 3 seating areas - large room in the front with a substantial bar area, a smaller room in the back and outdoor seating. We were seated in the back, which was a bit less noisy, but it still had a lovely ambiance. This was part of the Chase Sapphire Preferred Dining credit. Be sure to go through the Chase app, which will direct you to Open Table, to make your reservations in order to receive the dining credit. A definite hit and highly recommended!!

Always a great experience here. Service is fantastic, the food is exceptional. Would always recommend the gnocchi and tartare. The oyster selection is always fresh and a delight. Still one of my favorite spots in town
