Surprised we were able to secure a reservation. Beautiful historic building, very opulent, We had the set menu which was good value and a varied selection. From being welcomed to the restaurant and throughout the whole meal the service was exemplary. A bonus was a Magician, which added to the birthday celebration for our 13 year old with a dessert and candles. Only quibble was the restaurant was quite cold. My son is asking to go again the same week !

The service and welcome is the first thing that hits you, before the style and then the diverse range of the South Woodford crowd, quietly and authenticity cool. Cocktails followed and then the food which is a cut above the usual Indian restaurant. Starters are really interesting, exciting to kick off the range of spices to be tasted. Mains offer offfer a beautiful quality of sauces, flavour the saffron rice added texture and gentle flavour. There are also some interesting fish dishes. I love this restaurant and always one Iook forward to returning to
