Reservations are strongly recommended. Our full service bar has 14 seats and accommodates walk-in's on a first come, first served basis. While there is no dress code at Sorella, we encourage guests to dress smart casual. The music volume in the restaurant is loud with a lively vibe. We have a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals before your reservation will be canceled. No shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours will be subject to a $25 per person cancellation fee. Welcome to the Steam Plant Restaurant and Brew Pub! This historical building actually functioned as a steam plant between 1916 and 1986, when the last boiler was shut down in December of that year.Then years later, the old plant was transformed from a dirty, drab industrial behemoth into a cathedral-bright architectural showcase becoming a functional commercial space while maintaining as much history and equipment as possible within the rigid guidelines of historic renovation. Fortunately, the iconic twin stacks continue to lend a uniqueness to the Spokane skyline. Since reopening in November 2021, the Steam Plant has partnered with Grain Shed Brewing whose beers are made with regionally sourced ingredients. The bar and dinner menus have been updated to showcase local favorites. Prices range from $11 - 16 for shareable appetizers, soups & salads, handhelds, and pizza; entries range from $18 - 38; and desserts range from $9 - 19 for the Steam Plant Shareable that feeds 4-6 people.

    We had a late lunch today with a hot crab sandwich and shrimp and lobster fettuccine. Both were excellent along with a fine glass of wine. Our waitress was so friendly and upbeat. We always enjoy clinkerdaggers and visit several times a year.

    We go to Wild Sage once or twice a year for special occasions. I am lactose intolerant and they will adjust what is ordered to fit food sensitivities and still give you a gourmet meal. They always have a vegan dark chocolate macaroon ice cream that is my favorite and I always order it. Plus they have a couple vegetarian or vegan options. I had the black bean tempeh which was delicious. It’s speedy but worth it for something special.

    Exceptional in every way. We were celebrating a few special occasions for our family of six adults, and everyone had an amazing time. The menu was so enticing and unique that we had difficulty choosing our dishes. The atmosphere was delightful; we never felt rushed, and the noise level was perfect—lively and special, yet still conducive to conversation. The owner is an absolute treasure, and we all left feeling happy and satisfied. Thank you for crafting such a memorable experience!
