Always have a great meal here. The value meal offer is a great value when you look at all you get. Always end up taking enough home for another meal. The service is excellent: courtesy's, professional, knowledgeable - they want to please the customer. Our "go to" restaurant in New Haven for Italian. Great ambiance, especially with the music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Food was tremendous. Clam chowder was out of this world, had really great time. Our server "The joker" was awesome. Can't compliment the steaks enough. It was our third visit.

I love Gioia's festive and relaxed atmosphere and unusually delicious food. It's our go-to restaurant in New Haven now! The menu is creative and fun, the drinks are wonderful, and if you have the affogato for dessert, you will be in heaven.
