    We were there from Nova Scotia for my mum’s 79th birthday. Everything was absolutely perfect! A lovely birthday card on the table for her, absolutely phenomenal food (the gnocchi!), fantastic service and beautiful environment. We could not have asked for more.     A slight communication problem between telephone booking and staff on the frontline was resolved quickly and in a friendly manner. Everything else was terrific. The beef Sunday lunch and the veggie curry option from main menu were top class, and we are all.really fussy about our food. The serving staff were lovely. The music was a pleasure. Free malt whisky tasting was an unexpected bonus.
