The award-winning Appellation is recognised as South Australia’s world-class regional dining destination and headlines the offering at The Louise. Framed by large windows with views to the vines and featuring private dining nooks, the restaurant is perfect for an intimate dining experience, driven both by generations of Barossa culture and contemporary Australian style and innovation. Executive Chef Sam Cooper offers a seasonal tasting menu for $175 per person.     We booked at the last minute on a whim, we had been with family a month or so ago. The service is great always friendly and welcoming. The food is very good from the fresh calamari that we shared to the main courses Salmon and Saltbush Chicken they were very nice dishes and finished off with coffee, hot chocolate and fried ice cream and affogato it was a very nice night out. I would recommend Lou's Horizon for a great meal with friends or family.

    What a delicious meal !!! We all had the battered flat head. The batter was crunchy the chips were to die for and just enough fresh salad on the plate. I can certainly recommend the meal. Price was so reasonable and staff extremely happy and welcoming. It was very busy but thats because it is so good. Well done!!!!

    My partner and I went here the night of our engagement for dinner and had their new menu that they had recently rolled out, along with the paired wine menu. This was not a mistake, this venue was gorgeous and lived up to the occasion. The service was excellent, attentive without being over-bearing (thanks Piarsh), and the food was immaculate. A highlight for me was the seafood ravioli. I also appreciated how they accommodated my partners food intolerances without either the quality of the meal suffering, or making us feel inconvenient. I would highly recommend.
