- RRobynAtlanta Metro •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was our fourth or fifth year celebrating our anniversary at Ray's on the River and each time is better than the last. David and Justin, our servers, were prompt, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu and answered our questions thoroughly. We each had a special: my husband had the "Triple Threat" and I had the Halibut and Scallops. The bone marrow butter on my husband's petit filet sent him to another universe! And my scallops were cooked *perfectly*. We had a few cocktails, which were excellent, and the popular Butter Cake for dessert. I would highly, highly recommend Ray's as we have never had a negative experience there. We look forward to dining with them again!More infoRay's on the RiverPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Sandy Springs•4.7

Eating delicious food and drinking in a beautiful garden setting next to the river on a gorgeous fall evening is my favorite! We’ve been several times over the last several years and are never disappointed. Recently, our servers have been Savanah and Myranda (name spelling?) and they’ve both been extremely professional, kind, accommodating and fun. They each ho over and beyond in their work. An example we can share is … several months ago my husband and I shared the most AMAZING pistachio desert at Canoe. I am always a chocolate fan or a fan of the caramel popcorn and ice cream they have, but this pistachio dessert was amazing! When we went back after that visit, they were no longer serving it and we nearly fell off our chairs. After several visits, we met Myranda and “whined & complained”about it to her… she promised to call us if it ever came back. Well, a couple of weeks later it did come back for one night and Myranda DID try to call us. We never connected, but c’mon! The woman totally tried to call us to tell us a dessert was back for one night! Anyway, the pistachio dessert is now back on the menu (for now) and we couldn’t be happier. I’m dedicated to the popcorn caramel ice cream, but you can’t take ice cream home. So, we got 2 pieces of the pistachio to go and have been enjoying them thoroughly at home. Anyway - we love Canoe and will be back again asap.More infoCanoePrice: Expensive• American• Vinings•4.8
