The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. It has become a successful and established bar and restaurant, offering customers a choice of a regular selection of some 45 beers together with a selection of special beers. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere. It provides more than just the meal or drink but a whole Belgian experience. Now owned and run by Wursty Four Biers Ltd the new owners hope to take this fantastic venue to new heights and enhance the service style and offer. Sincerely not to be missed!

Pho Norwich is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. We also have loads of starters that are perfect for sharing with friends and family. Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular diets. We are accredited by Coeliac UK.     We visited for my husband's birthday lunch with our 3 children. 3 of us had feast trays, the 2 younger ones had kids burgers. Everything was absolutely delicious and there was so much food that we skipped dinner! Service was great, staff are amazing. This was our second visit, we already cant wait to return for a third!

    A birthday treat for my husband, we arrived earlier than planned but were easily accommodated in the main restaurant. The menu for afternoon tea was explained to us and our choice of teas/drinks was noted. It was a particularly hot afternoon but the room was cool and water was also provided. When the tea arrived it was displayed beautifully and each item was explained. There was a delicious savoury selection of sandwiches and bites (often not the case in other afternoon teas). The savoury and sweet scones were brought when we were ready and there was also a plate of small cakes. There was more than enough food for the two of us and all of it was delicious. We cannot recommend the experience highly enough and were pleased to be offered a box to take uneaten items home with us. Can truly say it was the most delicious afternoon tea we have had and would certainly recommend for both the food, location and ambience. Staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.

    A beautiful experience in Norwich today. Cream champagne tea for my mum’s birthday. Staff were INCREDIBLE and looked after her- which she loved, Everything about the experience was perfect!!!
