Stoneburner sits on the ground floor of Hotel Ballard alongside Ballard Avenue, where longtime Seattle chef and owner Jason Stoneburner cooks with the confidence of 20+ years in the region’s kitchens. His food blends the bounty of the Northwest — wood-fired meats, seasonal vegetables, and handmade pastas served without pretense. Inside, the restaurant feels both worldly and lived-in, with salvaged wood, antique fixtures, and a cozy, layered design. On warmer days, massive front windows slide open to Ballard Avenue, filling the space with light and breeze. It’s the kind of place that welcomes you in—whether you're gathering with friends, celebrating something big, or just stopping by for a great plate of food.

Stoneburner never fails to impress. Everything was delicious as always. Pepperoni pizza, beef cheek tagliatelle, and beet salad were particular standouts.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner at The Garrison and plan to be back very soon. The space is lovely, quiet, and a comfortable place to enjoy dinner. When we arrived we were notified ahead of time that they were unexpectedly short staffed but would do their best to take good care of us, and they sure did. I don't think I saw any of the staff slow done once. They did everything to make sure people were served in a timely and friendly manner, even under some added stress. The bartender was whipping out delicious cocktails like it was nobody's business. We were impressed! To top it off, the food was delicious. We ordered the seafood tower and enjoyed absolutely everything that was included. We can't wait to bring friends back. Thank you for a lovely anniversary dinner!

Incredible dining, from impeccable wait staff to the best tasting food combinations I’ve ever experienced! The appetizers are unique with complex flavors. Entrees are delicious and for a real treat, try the Roti. The wait staff love to describe the food you’ve ordered and are passionate about their product! Considering what you get, I was surprised prices weren’t higher. If you’re into wine pairing, they have that covered too with an impressive wine selection as well as cocktails. We’ll definitely be back for special occasions.
