Our dining experience was one of our favorites - we were pleasantly surprised to hear music, be able to carry on a conversation and eat at the same time!!!!! Kudos to the establishment 🙏 well done …… not to mention the food was out of this world!!!!!!!!!

Went early at 6:30pm not many people inside but service and food was fast. Food was amazing and celebratory dessert was great! Definitely great spot to check out!

Taboo is a Tulum favorite for good reason, and after many visits, it continues to exceed expectations every single time. From the impeccable service to the incredible food and electric atmosphere, this place truly has it all. I brought my mom for our first mother-daughter trip, and I wanted it to be unforgettable — and Taboo delivered. My mom isn't one for over-the-top celebrations, so we opted out of the traditional sparklers and birthday song. Without missing a beat, the management and our wonderful server Jamie went above and beyond to ensure she still felt completely special. Instead, a violinist serenaded her with a stunning rendition of Happy Birthday that left her absolutely glowing. It was elegant, personal, and exactly right for her. That level of attentiveness is rare and truly sets Taboo apart. The food is delicious — the filet and lobster were standout favorites, and I'm already hoping they bring the risotto back to the menu, as it was always a highlight for me. If you're visiting Tulum, Taboo is a non-negotiable stop!
