    My husband and I went there for our Anniversary. The table was decorated for us, we were greeted by all the staff with “Happy Anniversary” and made to feel very special. The food, as always, was delicious! We had the Bison Filet with peppercorn sauce, brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. To finish our meal we had the chocolate tres leches cake, and it was divine.

    Talk about Southern Hospitality! Christie (sorry if I spell it wrong!) was an absolute rock star! She provided excellent service with a smile, gave fantastic recommendations, and even offered us a drink to go. She was training a new staff person and her patience was evident. This is an unassuming little place with a great menu. Their Gouda grits are thick and cheesy, but for me their biscuits were the standout. I tried their midtown biscuits and they were 10/10. My husband, who LOVES chicken and biscuits got their Nashville Hot chicken biscuits, with a side of gravy to smother on top. He kept raving about how good it was. After dinner later that day (at an excellent restaurant) he said the best bite of the day was the chicken biscuit. Heck, that might be his favorite of the trip! Would definitely come back for a round two, highly recommend this place. Yum!
