Starting was little late but we understand the place was busy. Thanks to managers and floaters who assited their servers for pouring water, greeting the table and find out wts the occassion and making a custom menus for groom. Food was excellent everything was hot really enjoyed by my boys. Thanks for taking care of 2 vegetarians in the group and thanks for the extra dessert at the end for groom. Wine glass were clean, silvers were shine and looked new. Table maintenance was on point. Overall it was excellent !!More infoGW Fins$$$$• Seafood• French Quarter•4.9
- TTomikoNew Orleans / Louisiana •6 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoThis was my bestie and my first time dining at Lukes. I had been wanting to dine there for quite some time and he decided to take me for my birthday! The restaurant is a quaint and wide open space with an old historic flair to it. The seating is close which makes for a very lively, but not intimate experience. So, you may want to be prepared to fellowship with others dining at another table. Once you are seated, you are tended to by not one, but two waiters…I was flabbergasted! They were like a tag team…nothing went unattended or addressed. Our appetizer, cocktail, entrees and desert were all pleasing tasty and a delightful experience. At the conclusion of our meal, the restaurant manager hand delivered the desert of my choice with a lite candle to the table for my birthday. I was pleasantly surprised and honored when he gave me the choice of having the restaurant staff sang happy birthday to me or not. I shall return!More infoLuke$$$$• French• Central Business District•4.7
- EEileenNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoKnowing Brennans is highly recommended and popular, I made our reservation a month ahead. After enjoying the bar area, we were seated so that we could see all of the wonderful artwork that represented Mardi Gras in the 40’s. Joni was a delightful, knowledgable server. Since we rarely find Chateau Briand on any menu, we were thrilled to discover it here, so it became an early 58th anniversary celebration for us. Service, timing, the food prep, Crepes Fitzgerald -Wow - and Irish Coffee completed our excellent dining experience. Needless to say, I highly recommend Brennans.
